Chapter 5

Ellaine Moon's PoV•

I kept thinking what the guys just said to me, i still want reasons on why I should avoid Ivan, I didn't even realize what time it is. It's 4:00 in the afternoon, Niel and Steph hasn't come back yet, I guess they won't be coming back for now, still looking for Steph's brother I think.

I went to the rest room to wash my face and take a pee, I went inside a the cubicle and I heard the door open again.

"You saw Sky? His mom recently passed away whatya think about it?"

"Do I need to think about it? Anyway he deserves it to be completely honest, teached him a lesson on playing girls. Such a jerk. I feel bad but I know he'll just shrug it off, tss he always does."

Two girls were talking about Ivan and how dare them? Are they really that heartless? saying he deserves his moms death? are they freaking kidding me? I couldn't hold my anger anymore and went out the cubicle

I went up to where the two girls were and slapped the girl who said Ivan deserved it.

"Now listen here you wench I dont fucking know who you are but you have no right to tell Ivan that he deserved that his mother died. you fucks should get your own lives and ruin it, I hear one more word out of both your mouths I swear I will drag your asses back to where you came from."

I stormed out of the bathroom leaving the two girls there shocked. They couldn't say a single word, which is good I dont know what I'll do if they spoke another goddamn word.

I walked back to where Ivan is and noticed the time.

"4:10 what time does this hospital close anyways?"

I asked myself and went inside the room, Ivan lifted the blanket and covered his moms face, guess that we are leaving.

"I'll see you again soon mom, I love you so damn much, I miss you so much mom, I just hope you didn't have to go like that."

I heard Ivan talk to his mom, I can tell he's really gonna miss her. He noticed me and smiled, that smile was forced and I know it, he didn't have to smile if he didn't want to.

"You ready to go Moon? It's getting late as we speak."

He asked me if I was ready to go back home and I nodded, I remembered that I didn't bring enough clothes so I asked him if we could go to my house to get my stuff and he said yes.

We drove for like 30 minutes and just like that I'm home, to be honest im not excited to go back home. I hate it here for some reason.... probably because of my mom.

Be thankful that you still have a mom Moon, we don't want you to feel what Ivan feels.

My brain gave me a pep talk inside my head and it's true, I need to be thankful because my mom is still here, its hard living without a mom and im so lucky that I have one still with me even if we dont get along, I love her dearly.

My mom noticed that I was at the front door and gave me a quick smile and walked to where we are.

"Oh, Ellaine you're home, I was worried about you, but don't worry I trust you that you didn't get yourself in trouble."

I ran up to her and gave her a tight hug, I don't wanna lose my mom, I dont want to undergo the process of losing someone.

I noticed Ivan smiling, and a tear rolled down on his cheeks, he miss his mom.

"Good heavens Ellaine, it's like we didn't met for a long while... Oh I see you're with someone hmm?"

My mom teased me and we both chuckled,

"Mom he's just a friend. Oh and by the way mom im here to take my stuff, Im moving in with him, because I'm gonna study in Duke."

I know mom will let me because my school and my study is involved I just gave her a huge smile and she smiled back.

"And here I thought you said he's just a friend hmmm? Anyway yes I am allowing you to do so but don't forget to visit me here okay?"

"Hello gentlemen I'm Victoria Walker, nice to meet you."

My mom introduced herself to Ivan and he gave out a huge smile.

"Hello Mrs. Walker, I'm Sky Ivan Efron, it's also nice to mee you."

He invited Ivan to go inside the house and Ivan gladly accepted moms offer. We were in the kitchen while Ivan is waiting in the living room when mom tapped my shoulders.

"You never mentioned meeting Sky, you do know he's the talk of Duke right? How come you never mentioned it to your mother?"

She joked which made me laugh at her, i shrugged and looked at where the food was.

"But honey, don't date him alright? He seems like a nice kid and all but im afraid of what the rumors about him is, being a playboy and a bad boy wont be a good influence to you honey."

A sigh left my mouth as what my mom said to me. Do people really judge Ivan this way?

No one knows him, not even me but I'm sure he's not what people says he is.

"I know mom, I wont."

It's hard to lie Infront of her, what if she finds out that I'm already in the verge of falling for him?

I took my way upstairs to pack my stuff, I didn't bring much or technically I didn't bring all of my stuff because I'll be back here to visit.

I saw my mom talking to Ivan and Ivan was smiling I think the talk they are having right now is good and thank you that mom didn't go berserk and asked him a lot of questions.

When Ivan noticed that I was coming to where they are he quickly gave me a smile. We went on our way to the front door and bid goodbye to my mom which gave me a tight hug and told me to take care always.

"Your moms nice" Ivan said suddenly.

"How come you and her always argue though? I dont get it. You seem to be okay when you two were talking earlier."

And he was right, it didn't look like anything was wrong between me and my mom, hay if only he knew that when me and my mom argue it's like im not her daughter, it's like she's not my mom.

"Well, you'll understand soon when you finally can see us argue. But for now it's actually nice that we can talk and joke around like that."

He started playing with my hair while we were walking to the car, it gave me comfort because I was nervous that I get to live with Ivan alone.

We got in the car and Ivan started driving to go to the house, it's 6 in the evening as we speak.

When we got home to the house Niel And Steph was sleeping on the couch guess that Ivan gave Niel access to his house.
