A whistle sounded and the last students got in the train before the doors closed. In the train was chaos. The elder students greeted or searched their friends, which they didn't see in six weeks, the first years looked around in astonishment and looked for empty compartments. The train left the platform and the passage emptied. Japan stayed standing at the door and waved her family until the train crossed a corner and she couldn't see the platform anymore. Then the Neko started searching for a free compartment. In the third wagon she found a compartment in which two boys were sitting. Both had three vertical stripes on their faces. The larger country had one white, one blue and one red stripe although you could hardly see the white one, because he wore an ushanka, the stripes of the smaller one were black, red and gold. Japan opened the door peppy. "Germany! Russia!" she called out. "Can I sit with you?" "Hello Japan. Of course, sit down.", Germany greeted his friend. Russia nodded and helped her stow her suitcase in the luggage rack. "How was your holidays?" Japan asked. Germany shrugged his shoulders. "It was okay, just-" In this moment the door were opened and another country looked shyly into the compartment. Their face was white at the top and red at the bottom. "Uhhmm, can I sit here?" The unknown asked. "Of course. By the way I'm Japan and these are Russia and Germany. The two are stepbrothers." "Hello. Nice to meet you, my name is Poland." Germany smiled at them. "Hello Polen." "Do you need help with your suitcase?" asked Russia. Poland smiled. "That would be really nice." Russia stand up, lifted Poland's suitcase into the luggage rack next to Germany's and sat down again. Poland also sat down and looked interested at the two boys. "You guys look familiar to me." They said thoughtful. "Did we ever met before?" "Not as far as I know." answered Germany. "It's maybe because you know our dads." "Who are your dads?" Germany adjusted his glasses and sighted. "Russia is USSR's oldest son and my Father is Third Reich." Suddenly Poland looked like they regret their decision to sit in this compartment. Japan calmed them down. "Hey, the two are nice, really. They're nothing like their fathers." Poland calmed down a little and apologised. "I'm sorry, I was overreacting, I hope you are not mad now." Before the two countries could answer, the door opened and a man with a nest with three birds in it printed on his face asked "Do you want anything from the trolley?" Poland shook their head and muttered that they had no money, but only Germany, who sat next to them could hear them. The others took out their money and bought a bit of everything. "You can take something as well if you want." Germany offered Poland. "No, it's yours, I'm fine." "It's ours." Russia grinned and threw a chocolate frog at Poland. After a while in which they had eaten, Germany took out a book and began to read. Somewhat later Poland fell asleep on his shoulder and Japan soon fell asleep too. After a few hours in which the brothers slept too an elder student came and told them that they would arrive in about half an hour. The four put their robes on and looked out of the window curiously, hoping they could see Hogwarts. Unfortunately they saw nothing but a forest and the train station. They get out of the train and looked around amazed, while they must been careful not to get carried away by the flood of older students.

Iceland and his brother Finland get in the train in the last moment after they said goodbye to their brothers. Therefore they only found an empty compartment in the penultimate wagon. While the Nordic countries stowed their suitcases another country came in. The boys flag was striped red and white just one quarter was dark blue with white stars. He also wore sunglasses. "Hey, can I sit here with you?" Finland sat down at the window. "I don't mind." He said, shrugging his shoulders. Iceland smiled. "Of course you can." "Thanks. I'm by the way America and you?" "My name is Iceland." "Finland." America sat down across from Finland. Three minutes of uncomfortable silence later again someone came into the compartment. This time it were two boys. One of them had a red face with a yellow star. The face of the other one was red at the top and blue at the bottom and on the left side of his face there was an white triangle with a yellow sun in the middle. "Hello. I'm Vietnam and this is Martial Law or just Martial. Can we sit here?" "Sure, sit down." America indicated the seats next to him. The two sat down and Iceland tried to start a conversation. "So... uhhh" He began "What do you think in which house you will be sorted?" "Probably Slytherin, I don't know." suspected Finland. "I hope I'll be sorted into Gryffindor." America said. "I seriously have no clue. I would fit in every house." Vietnam explained. "I'm pretty sure I going to be in Slytherin." said Martial disinterested. "And you?" America asked Iceland. "Maybe I'll be sorted into Hufflepuff but I'm not sure either." He smiled. "Do you guys have siblings?" America asked around. Iceland answered first. "We are brothers and we have three other brothers, Sweden and Norway, the two come to Hogwarts next year and Denmark, who will start school in two years." "Luckily I have no siblings." answered Vietnam. "I have a younger brother, Philippines. He will also go to Hogwarts in two years and he is the most adorable and cutest boy." Martial told. "I have three brothers. Canada and Australia, who going to go to Hogwarts next year and New Zealand, who also start school in two years." America answered his own question. The door were opened. "Do you want anything from the trolley?" Everyone bought something they either already knew or wanted to try. The next hour they were busy eating candy, exchanging chocolate frog cards and holding a competition to see who could eat the most jelly beans without throwing up. Martial Law won the competition, because the others gave up. The rest of the train ride was relatively quiet but when they were told to put their robes on everyone got a little nervous. But not in a bad way it was more anticipation. The train entered the station and the five countries got out.

That was more exhausted as expected. And I know it's late, but better late than never, how we Germans say.
