Cause of death

Prologue

You wake up somewhere cold and dark you struggle to open your eyes.
(Nnh my head .. What... Where am I?) Your wrists are bound and your lying in a dingy corner. Overhead, a bare bulb shines a wan yellow light. ( The last thing I remember is...the club...)

Turning your head you see a masked man standing at a workbench. He methodicly lays out tools... A scalpel , a pallette knife and a bucket. (OH MY GOD) Behind you you can barely make out a flight of narrow stairs. Using the corner of the wall as a brace you rise unsteadily to your feet. (I need to be quiet... I can make it out of here...)

The step creeks! The masked man charges towards you , you race up the stairs frantically. "Oh my god.." You fond yourself on the deck of the boat gazing out at the rocky shores of alcatrez island. The ocean spray stings against your cheeks! The masked man emerges from below decks , he is holding a syringe. Looking down you see choppy, waves pound against the hull.

You fall to your knees. "Please... Please just let me go. I'll give you whatever you want" you plead , The man walks over to you. "Yes , yes you will" he states. The man jerks violently on your arm and pulls you onto your feet! Your shoulder pops with an agonizing crack! "No more running" he says slowly. With surgical precision he sticks the syringe into your neck. The world blurs around you , your body goes numb... Paralized.

The masked man carrya you down below deck and lays you on a workbench. "Don't worry I'm not going to hurt you" he says in a soft tone.

He dips the pallette knife into a bucket and uses it to apply a layer of plaster accross your face. In a gentle voice he tells you "I'm just going to show the world your true face" And with that the mask man continues covering your face , first your mouth , then your nostrils but leaving your eyes for last. You struggle but you can't move , your limbs lie dead at your sides! Your lungs burn for air , your vision dims.

The darkness swallows you.
