Chapter Five

-Cassie's Place-

Aliyah is still on her phone she is yelling Shantell's name. Cassie comes into the room.

Cassie: What's going on?

Aliyah: I don't know, but I will be right back.

Cassie: Let me come with you.

Aliyah: No.

Cassie looks at Aliyah.

Cassie: What do you mean no?

Aliyah: I don't want you to get hurt Cassie.

Cassie: And I don't want you to get hurt Aliyah.

Aliyah: I will be fine.

Cassie: But Aliyah you were marked in case you forgot.

Aliyah sighs in defeat.

Aliyah: Fine you can come.

Cassie: Alright then let's go.

Aliyah and Cassie walk out of her house and head to Shantell's place.

-Sidewalk-

Aliyah and Cassie are walking down the sidewalk Aliyah stops causing Cassie to bump into her.

Cassie: What is it?

Aliyah sniffs the air.

Aliyah: I have Shantell's scent.

Cassie nods her head slightly Aliyah starts to walk again Cassie follows her. Aliyah turns down an alley and sees Shantell's body she runs up to her and skids to her knees she sees the blood coming from her heart and she knows that she's dead. Aliyah grabs her body and holds it close to her she starts to cry. Cassie walks up to Aliyah she stops when she sees Aliyah holding Shantell's body.

Cassie: Aliyah I'm...

Aliyah stops crying and looks at Shantell's neck she notices the same mark that she has on her neck. She gets up and starts to walk away Cassie follows her.

Cassie: Where are you going?

Aliyah doesn't say anything she just continues to walk.

Cassie: Aliyah.

Cassie grabs Aliyah's arm and turns her around.

Cassie: Where are you going?

Aliyah: If it's a fight that they want it's a fight that they are going to get.

Cassie: Who?

Aliyah: I got Makayla's scent.

Cassie: You can't just go and kill her plus it could be a trap.

Aliyah: Watch me.

Aliyah speeds off Cassie yells after her.

Cassie: Shit.

Cassie takes out her phone and calls Claire but there is no answer. Cassie sighs and walks down the sidewalk.

-Claire's House-

Claire is staring at the tape in her hand still she gets up and walks to her room. She finds her tape player and puts the tape in. She plays the tape.

-Tape Recording-

Aliyah: Sometimes I can't stand Abby, you know what I mean?

Mystery Girl: I know exactly what you mean. She thinks that she is all that.

Aliyah: But she isn't she is nothing but a selfish little bitch I just wish that Claire could see how shady she is.

Mystery Girl: I know but she never will cause Abby has her believing everything that is saying.
