Diwali is the Indian festival of lights. It marks the end of the year in the Indian calendar. Wish you success, prosperity and luck for the coming year!
May a finch linnet sing, it's dulcet cry.
A marimba,maraca to aid.
The slow lento,a largos leitmotit.
The melodious aria, a cheery féte.May the marguerites grow, gilly flowers bloom.
Freshen, festoon the sky.
May the peacocks dance,
The Hawaiian hula , the American tango.
May the magpies fly,
Swirl through the clouds, espy the heavens.
May the wrasses roam the sea,
Their reredos shades decorate the tranquil waters.May we be one with the nature,
Give the respect it deserves.
May we progress with the blessings of our elders
Bask in their experience and love.
May we be like a leveret,
Jump high, Jump far.
May we be like a liana,
Climb up, climb tall.
May we be like the atlantian mako,
Be strong, be quick.
May we be like a graceful gazelle,
Prod elegantly, Prod deftly.May we come above our self afflicted malignity,
Change the dogma, the ideology, the principles.
May we emancipate the boundaries of prejudice,
Embrace the beautiful diversity.May we discern the Magnum Opus,
Understand it's true meaning.
It was the same hand that created us.
It is the same lap we play in.May we be one ,this festival of light,
Our Diwali be joyous, an utter delight.
May we strive ahead, the advancing year.
May our paths be always clear,
Our forthcoming days a halcyon quite.
Shall our present be a jubilant glee,
May our future be not an I,
But a mighty we!
