chapter 6

"What "event" are you talking about." I now sit up yawning.

"Okay, well its not an "event" really, but it's still super cool. Harry invited me to this sick club in L.A tonight!! He said that its really hard to get into, and a lot of celebrities go there. He also said I can bring someone, and duh that means you!"

"Well how is he going to get us in, let alone himself, i mean no offense but he and we are just average people." I laugh.

"Harry said he knows the owner of the club, so we'll be fine... So are you in?" She put her hands together pleadingly.

"I mean ya sure, why not. Yolo right." I say and quickly realized how stupid i sounded. "I'll text Cam and invite him."

"Uhhh, ya you can't do that." Marissa looks down. "Harry said he can only get two people in at most, soooo that's me being one."

"And me being the other." I say sighing. "I don't know then, I mean I don't really feel like being the third wheel."

"You won't I swear, please I'm begging you, just come with me tonight." Marissa's starts pleading again.

"Okay, okay, I'll come, but we better get ready now, because L.A is quite a drive." I say as I get out of bed.

The next hour we primp and get ready for the club. I wear something a little nicer then usual and curl my hair. I'm wearing my red peplum dress and i put a leather jacket over it. I do a smokey eye, and as i'm grabbing my red and black Louboutin shoes i hear a knock on the door. Hmm, that's weird, I think to myself. I wasn't expecting anybody. I go to open the door and Cameron's there, with Starbucks in his hand.

"Hey, I thought i'd stop by with your favorite drink because.." He looks up finally, "why are you so dressed up?" He asks confusingly.

"Oh shit. I totally forgot to tell you. I was too busy getting ready"

"Tell me what?" He says.

"Me and Marissa got invited to this really cool club down in L.A., Harry invited us. Well, not us but Marissa, and she said she can bring a plus one. So I'm the plus one." I laugh lightly.

"I tried inviting you, but Marissa said she can only bring one other person, I'm sorry." I say.

"So when were you planning to tell me you were going to this club, and hangout with Harry again." Cameron now looks angry as he leans against the door frame. "You know i told you to stay away from him."

"I swear i was gonna tell you as soon as i was done getting ready, and I didn't think it was a big deal to hangout with the both of them. It's not like Harry is a mass murderer Cameron." I say with a bit annoyance.

"Ya i know that Skylar, but I told you I don't like him, and its best you don't interact with people like him." He says with anger in his voice.

"Are you forgetting that Marissa's coming too?" i know say with clear annoyance now. "and I can talk and hang around with whoever I want. What makes you think your better than him anyways." I cross my arms frustrated.

wow. DId i just defend Harry? I mean i don't like the guy but Cameron is being way too dramatic about all of this.

"Forget it Skylar, hangout out with whoever you want, do whatever you want. I don't care, but i'm leaving so have fun tonight, and don't bother telling me the details." He hands me the drink and storms down the hallway to the elevator.

"Fine I will, god Cameron you being so fucking dramatic."

I slam the door and slide down it onto the floor. Tears start to welt my eyes but i quickly wipe them away. No, Cameron wasn't going to ruin my night, I'm going to have fun, and maybe even meet a couple celebrities. Ya that'll show him... I think.

Marissa comes out of her room in a black skin tight dress and her hair half up half down.

"I was listening to music but i heard a door slam, is everything okay?" She asks concerned.

"ya everything's fine." I say in the happiest tone possible. "Are you ready to go. We need to leave like now." I say

"Ya, Ya just let me get my shoes and we can leave."

As she goes and gets her shoes I grab the Starbucks drink and dump it down the drain. I grab the car keys as Marissa comes out and we both head towards the door.

"You ready for the funnest night ever?" Mar says excitedly.

"Ya you bet." I say with hesitation. "Hopefully it will be."
