The Dark Shark

Kira walked the long corridors of the WBBA. She was exhausted and hungry. She was no longer used to such exigent training sessions. Fortunately, the female only had training in the morning.

'Already tired, Kira? Doesn't even look like you're the best agent!'

'Shut up, Tsubasa!' the female replied. 'I'm still getting used to it! It's been only two days since I got back to this life.'

The male smiled as they walked to the cafeteria to have lunch. However, he wasn't so smiley inside. He was thinking about Ryuga. He had been missing for two days. The last time they saw him was at the final of Battle Bladers. Where could he be?

'Kiki!' Kira heard someone calling as they entered the big dining room. It was Yu. He ran to her to give her a hug.

'What are you doing here, cutie?' the female asked before she realised Kenta, Gingka, Madoka and Benkei were there too.

'I might have invited them to see how things work here,' Tsubasa confessed as they sat at a table to eat.

When lunch was over the guys headed to the training rooms while Kira showed Madoka the WBBA laboratories where they fixed the beyblades. The brunette was amazed and spent some time there. It was in those labs that Hyoma's beyblade had been fixed after his battle with Reiji. They fixed Sagittario and Libra too. They were excellent mechanics there and the brunette couldn't help herself but be extremely excited with all that.

Meanwhile, Kira joined the others. Tsubasa was showing them the battle rooms. They were big and spacious rooms with a Beyblade stadium where the bladers could train by battling one another.

'Kira, battle me!' Yu spoke when the female arrived. The kid had been waiting for that opportunity for some time. He was excited to finally be able to battle against Kira.

The female smiled and nodded before walking to the stadium. They got their launches ready and then the countdown began.

'3, 2, 1! Let it rip!' the bladers yelled as their beys flew to the stadium.

Kira didn't attack right ahead. She knew that would be useless since Libra had a great balance and resistance. She waited for Yu to make the first move. The green bey attacked fiercely. Phoenix didn't hold back and charged too.

'Libra, Sonic Waves!' the kid said as Libra sent out its vibrations in Phoenix direction while chasing the red Beyblade.

'That won't work! Phoenix, Dancing Flames!' Kira spoke and Phoenix began to spin fast avoiding Yu's attacks.

'Running away? That's no fun!'

Then Libra went to the centre of the stadium. That wasn't good. He would use his special move. Kira had to think of something fast before he released the Inferno Blast. Unfortunately, she was too slow and Phoenix began to be drawn to the huge blast of sonic vibrations. She could feel her head hurting because of the sound the vibrations emitted. There was no way out, so Kira opted for the way in.

'Phoenix Flaming Sharp Wings!' the female yelled.

The fiery Beyblade rushed to where Libra was. If she couldn't run away from that, she would run right into it hoping Phoenix could break through the wave and hit Libra.

Lucky for her, Phoenix was able to enter the big blast and collided against Yu's Beyblade provoking a small explosion. However, Libra was still spinning. The green Beyblade had great stamina and balance, she wouldn't be able to defeat him just with trivial attacks because Libra would always get its balance back. But maybe, if she attacked from above, that wouldn't happen. Kira decided to give it a try and Phoenix rose in the air just to start descending after. The female was putting all her strength in that one attack.
