|Jace's POV.|
"You fucking asshole!"
A smirk took over my lips as I stared at the beautiful blonde girl sitting in front of me.
Covered in my lunch.
She glared at me. If looks could kill I'd be dead, brought back to life and killed again.
"Doesn't feel so wonderful does it?" I asked. She glared even more. I turned around. My work here was done. Until....
I hit the ground. Hard as fuck too. "Shit..." Everybody was looking with their mouthes on the floor. I looked up to see her. She was spitting venom. Her pale skin was red from rage. She held her lunch tray in her hand, and she was breathing hard.
So that's what the fuck just hit me in the back of my head. Meaning... I touched my back. No. No. NO. MY LEATHER JACKET!
I growled and pounced on her. "You think you're slick bitch?" Next thing I know a pain coursed through my body. My balls...
I rolled over and hit the floor. "Next time, be a dear and watch where you 'accidentally' drop things!" She snapped with an evil look in her eyes.
And that's exactly how I ended up in detention with Faye Summers.
**********
The principal was in a good mood today. She let me and Faye go home and change. But still... Two hours with the devil's spawn. Mrs. Rivers came in the class. "You have two hours ,when the clock hits 5:00, you may be dismissed. Until then, stay in your seats, stay quiet, and just don't do anything to earn yourselves another Detention. I expect more out of you Ms. Summers." Mrs. Rivera just simply rolled her eyes at me and walked out.
I looked back at Faye. She was staring at me. A curious look was in her vivid green eyes. She blushed and looked away. You see, If Faye was somebody else I probably would just ignore her and believe her soul didn't exist at all.
But Faye was a popular at this school. Just like me. Except we were popular for two different reasons. Faye was popular because she's kind, sweet, helpful, cheer captain, caring and she gives good advice.
Me?
I'm a bad boy... Let me rephrase that. I'm 'The Bad Boy.' I didn't refer myself to that. But everyone did. I didn't exactly blame them. The things I do aren't exactly a nice cup of a tea.
Drugs were one thing, ever since my mom left, and my dad has turn into this abusive alcoholic person, I've turned myself over drugs.
Fighting for money, and for fun. When I'm angered or simply pissed, That's what I do.
Weapons. I own many... But I only used one.... A rifle I bought two Christmases ago. I was drunk, and high. Two guys came up to me trying to 'rough me up' and get money. I instantly felt threatened and shot both of them dead in between their eyes. It didn't dawn on me until morning that I killed two people.
"Jace." I jumped and looked up fast to see Faye staring at me with worry. "Yeah?" I asked. I scratched the back of my neck nervously. "Its time to go."
What..?
I looked up at the clock, sure enough it was 5:00. I over think too damn much. I looked back at Faye. She still had a worried expression on her face.
"I'm fine." I said breaking the silence. She nodded slowly. "Can I get a ride home?" She asked. Her eyes darted to the classroom's window. It was storming outside.
Should I?
I mean... I live right next door. And Faye isn't just somebody. I've Known her my whole life...
"Yea. Come on." I said. Relief washed over her. She gave me a shiny white smile and a quiet thank you. I looked at Faye. I've always had a liking to her, but I'd never tell her that. She'll laugh in my face.
I liked her because she was feisty. She didn't care much as to what came out her mouth, and she went by her own rules. I liked a girl like that. Not to mention, her style was what drew me to her first.
Her hair was actually pink and blonde. It had a wild look to it. It suited her well. She always had on a different color lipstick everyday to go with her outfit and dark eyeliner around her eyes.
She always wore her expensive leather jacket, just like me. Unless she was dressed up. Wristbands were her favorite. She had a shit load of them. And You know, she just had that badass girl look to her. And I liked it.
We ran out to my car quickly and got in. She blew hard. "I'm glad its still warm outside." She said ruffling her hair. She took off her jacket and I noticed the tattoos on her arms and wrist. I already knew about the one on her chest that said "Faye" with a rose connected to the 'Y' . "When did you get those?" I asked as I pulled out of our school's parking lot. She looked down at her arm.
"Over the break. Ruby did them for me." Ruby was Faye's older sister who lived in Georgia. I nodded. We sat in comfortable silence as I made a turn on our street. Did I mention Faye and I grew up in wealth. So you know, fancy cars, 100 credit cards, big house, parents are never home. Wild parties and the list goes on. I pulled up to Faye's house (mansion really.) She looked at me. We stared intensely at each other. She kissed me on the nose.
"Thanks Jace." She said and she got out the car and ran towards her gates. I blushed. I couldn't help but grin.
I shook my head and then drove over to the hell I call home.
