Finn's POV:

It's been 2 weeks since Rachel was brought to the hospital, she is in a coma due to head trauma she experienced. When she was hit on the head it cause bleeding, they had to preform a surgery and they managed to successfully remove all of the blood and they said that no permanent damage was done to the brain. So when she wakes up everything should be fine. They couldn't see if the baby was okay. They have to wait until Rachel wakes up.

I haven't left her side these two weeks and everyone from the glee club has come to visit her, even Mr Shue, Emma and their 3 year old son Daniel and 1 year old daughter Lila. They all moved here just for a little while until Rachel wakes up.

I was holding Rachel's hand when the doctor walks in and says

"She hasn't woken up yet?" He says me.

"No not yet." I say disappointed.

"Maybe if you try to talk to her or sing to her she will wake up faster because of the familiar surroundings and voice." He suggests with a smile.

He walks out of the room and then after a while I start to sing Rachel's favourite song, it was the first song that we have ever sang together.

Starts to sing don't stop believing softly:

Just a small town girl
Livin' in a lonely world
She took the midnight train goin' anywhere
Just a city boy
Born and raised in south Detroit
He took the midnight train goin' anywhere

A singer in a smoky room
A smell of wine and cheap perfume
For a smile they can share the night
It goes on and on, and on, and on

Strangers waiting
Up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching in the night
Streetlights, people
Living just to find emotion
Hiding somewhere in the night

Working hard to get my fill
Everybody wants a thrill
Payin' anything to roll the dice
Just one more time
Some will win, some will lose
Some were born to sing the blues
Oh, the movie never ends
It goes on and on, and on, and on

Strangers waiting
Up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching in the night
Streetlights, people
Living just to find emotion
Hiding somewhere in the night

Don't stop believin'
Hold on to the feelin'
Streetlights, people

Don't stop believin'
Hold on
Streetlights, people

Don't stop believin'
Hold on to the feelin'
Streetlights, people

When I finish I look down and close my eyes and started to talk out loud about the day I first met Rachel.

"You know, you kind of scared me because you were kind of clingy and all up in my face but I think that's why I started to get a crush on you because you weren't like every other girl I've ever met, you were different in a good kind of way, you know?"

"Yeah I do."

I look up and see Rachel's beautiful chocolate brown eyes staring at me. I started to cry and hug Rachel and pepper her with kisses until no part of her face was unkissed. She smiled at me

"Was I really that clingy and in your face?" She says laughing.

"Yeah you were you should have seen yourself throwing yourself at me." She playfully punches my arm and pretends to get angry at me.

"Are you angry at me?" I ask trying not to laugh.

"How could i ever be be angry at you. I missed you so much." She says crying.

"Rachel don't cry, I missed you too, so much. But now we're together and I wont let anything bad happen to you again."

She pulls me in to give me a hug, we stay in this position for what seems like an eternity until she lets go

"Is the baby okay?" She asks worried.

"I don't know. We were waiting for you to wake up, and now that you have we can check. I'll call the doctor in and then he can check you up." I say with a nervous smile in my face.

"Okay." She responds quietly.

A few minutes later a nurse comes in to perform the ultrasound on Rachel.

"Hello Rachel I'm nurse Matthew."

"Hi." We both say at the dam time.

"Okay, so this is going to be a little cold."

He applies this blue gel to Rachel's stomach and I can Rachel shiver as he applies it. I run my hand up and down her arm to try and warm her up.

He grabs this wand and moves it around Rachel's stomach, after a few seconds the screen on the ultrasound machine turns black and white.

The nurse looks at the screen for a bit longer than I think is normal and Rachel noticed too.

"Is everything okay?" Rachel asks nervously.

"Yes, everything is great. You have a healthy baby. You are about 2 months and 1 week along in your pregnancy."

"Oh thank God!" We both say at the same time.

A tear falls down my face as I look at the sonogram. I wipe it away as soon as Rachel looks at me. She had tears running down her face. I wipe them away with my thumbs and give her a kiss on her forehead.

"Do you have any questions?" The nurse asks.

"When do I make another appointment for?" Rachel asks.

"For about a month unless there is something urgent that you need to discuss with your doctor."

"Well okay then, thank you very much."

"Oh, and when can we find out the gender of the baby?" I ask.

"In about 3 weeks, you can schedule an appointment for any date after then."

He hands me a paper towel and I start to wipe of the gel off of Rachel. When I'm done I give her a kiss on the cheek and sit back down on the uncomfortable plastic hospital chair next to her bed.

The nurse walks out and me and Rachel start to talk about babg things that we need to get and what gender the baby is going to be.
