~My POV~
When the prison was attacked, Carl, Rick, and I were separated from the rest of the group. We came

upon a house and decided to stop to rest. When we entered the house, Rick fell asleep on the couch

while I went to find a bedroom upstairs. I began to cry. That's when I heard knocking at the door...

"Who is it?" I asked although I knew it was Carl

"It's Carl, do you mind if I come in?" He asked.

I began to wipe my tears, and finally said, "Sure!"

"I just wanted to check if you were alright after what has happened these past few days." Carl replied

as he entered the room. "I know you must be upset about not having your father around..."

"I know he will be fine, but it's Judith I worry about," you began to cry, "before she was born, I

promised Lori I would keep her safe no matter what."

"You did all you could. I've seen you rock her to sleep and keep her from harm while we went on

runs." Carl said while pulling you into a hug.

My heart began to rapidly beat and butterflies fillies my stomach.

"Can I tell you something?" I said nervously.

"Of course. Anything!" He said, stepping closer.

"I um-" I stuttered.

"Spit it out" he said, rubbing his thumb across my cheek and sliding his hand down my side and

around my waist.

"You can't wear that hat," I finally said. Smiling.

"Why?!" He said awkwardly, stepping away.

"Because then I can't do this," I whispered. I knocked his hat off his head and stood on my toes,

kissing him.
