Chapter 1

"Hey Holly time to get ready for bed. You have your last first day of high school tomorrow" My mom said.
"Ok mom I will and I know I am so excited. haha. I'm finally a senior. " I answered.
"Hey guys I have to get off. I have my last first day of high school tomorrow." I explained
"Okay will you be on Xbox tomorrow?" Zach asked.
"Yeah I will. I still have to finish my house on minecraft anyways." I said.
"Me too. Haha. Danny is sharing a house with me because he doesn't want to build one. Haha." Josh exclaimed.
"Ok got to go bye guys. Night." I ended.
"Night Holly" Josh answered.
"Good night" Danny added.
"Night" Zach said.
I stood up and put my penguin pj pants and a white volleyball t-shirt on. I walked to the bathroom to brush my teeth.
"Good night sweetie." My dad said as he stopped to give me a hug on his way down the hall.
"Night dad. Love you. Are you home tomorrow or do you have I stay overnight at work?" I asked.
My dads job is hard to understand. He is a firefighter captain. We never know if he will be home or not.
"No, I will home tomorrow." My dad answered.
"Night everyone!" I shouted before I shut my bedroom door.
Beep! beep! beep!
"Ugh it's too early." I whined.
I sit up and shut my alarm off. Then it hit me...it's my last first day of high school. Oh my. On that note I jump out of bed and walk out of my bedroom door.
"AAHH oh my gosh I am a senior wah-hoo!!" I screamed out of excitement.
"Ahh honey I know this is so sad for me. Haha. Hurry up and get a shower you have to have time so I can get your picture." My mom said enthusiastically.
"Ok I am." I respond.
I hope in the shower an wash my hair first. I rinse my hair and wash my body. I quickly rinse off and turn the shower off. I hop out and put a towel on and go to my room. I look through every piece of clothing I own in my closet and finally decide on an off white ruffled tank-top with little blue flowers scattered on it, black skinny jeans, and a gray sparkly sweater over top.
"I love this outfit!" I say to myself. I brush my hair and grab my backpack and shoes and walk out of my room.
My mom gasps when she sees me.
"Oh my.. Holly you look so grown up." She says as tears slide down her cheeks.
"Thanks mom.. But stop it your going to make me cry." I am trying to holding back my tears.
After what feels like 1,000 pictures, I can't smile anymore.
"Mom please my cheeks hurt. Haha." I complain.
"Just one more Holly." She fought.
Just one more turned out to be 100 more on her iPhone. Haha. wow mom.
"Ok I am going to miss the bus if I don't leave now. haha." I whine.
"Ok, ok fine I'm done. Have a great last first day honey." She says while tearing up again.
"Thank you mom you too." I say while hugging her.
I walk down the street to go to my bus stop. When I get to my bus stop my best friend madi is there waiting for me. She's dressed in a sky blue short sleeve shirt with white skinny jeans and converse sneakers.
"Omg holly you look so pretty." Madi complemented me.
"Me!? madi I like you outfit. But thank you. haha." I complemented.
"Do you hear the bus. Haha." Madi joked
"Yeah. haha. how could you not." I said sarcastically.
When the bus pulls up and mike opens the doors madi starts up the steps. I follow behind her down the aisle. When we reach the back of the bus we sit in the last seat together.
"Did you notice the way we all sit on the bus?" I asked madi
"Yeah 7th grade sits in the front followed by 8th and 9th grade behind them." Madi answered.
"Then it goes 10th 11th then us 12th grade. Haha." I finish.
When we finally arrive at school i walk inside with madi. We separate when we get on our floor. I find my way to my homeroom in only a few minutes. My homeroom number reads b213. This homeroom is the homeroom of seniors with the last names that start with S. I walk in and look around I know everybody... But one person. He has long curly dark brown hair and a cute smile. Why have I never seen him before? he looks and I guess he sees me staring because he gets up and starts walking over.
