Chapter 3: "Unexpected Doom"

November 4th, Tuesday, 8 a.m. The second day to begin with. A grueling journey.

A gloomy morning again. We three woke up from a frightening nightmare. We continued our journey with some foods and water on our bags. Determined as we stand firm and continued to walk.

"C'mon, Zyn!" My friend said while I was looking back to the burnt village.

"Okay." I said.

While we were chit-chatting, I smell something pleasant, a smell of a corpses.

I stopped from walking along with them, I smelled the bushes, "Guys, I smell something here."

"Would you check this out and smell?" I asked them while they were busy walking.

They heard my frightened voice, they moved.

"Nope, I didn't smell something unpleasant here." My friend Nel answered.

"Anyways, we'll be crossing that nile." Mike said and he point his finger and said, "There. There's that nile river. We can get fresh water there and we can take a bath too. We're smelly that's what I smell. HAHA." He said.

I started thinking hypothesis, "Where are we?!" My thought in mind.

Suddenly, a suspicious group with daggers and double-bladed knife suddenly appears from the bushes.

"Put your blades on the ground, and kneel down!" A guy wearing a mask said.

An alarming voice we heard. We were surprised by a bunch of rebellion. All of them were wearing a mask. And Nel nearly faint. We were Immobile at that time. Though can't resist his sharp stare at me and his barking voice thats why I wasn't able to move and my friends as well.

We immediately kneeled. Then they removed our knifes and daggers. Including our bags.

Suddenly, a scented Woman with an alluring body on masked with tatoos showed up.

"Uhoy, what are you doing here." Strange voice of a sitting Woman on masked said as she swing and point her katana on me.

Mike responded, "He-hey. Pull down your blade and lets talk. Let's settle this without violent."

A guy on masked kicked him on the stomach and said, "Who on earth will reply to an High Ranking ex-General like that. She didn't give you the permission to speak!"

Mike sigh deeply, "Oof, damn you!" My friend replied.

The Woman stared at the guy and said, "Give him the freedom to speak, Paolo."

"Yes madam, sorry." He said.

A guy in masked beside her said, "Those brats are from the high lands. That brat on the middle look like the man who killed my Papa when I was his age, when Papa was on way home after working on the goverment. I remember that night."

Flashback on the guy on masked;

"Papaaa! please don't dieee!" He said while holding his father, laying down on the ground with a serious stab on his neck.

"Joseph my bo-oy, please ta-take care of yo-urself And do-nt tell this to-o yo-your mo-ther." His father last words.

"Papaaa nooooo, HUHUHU!" He said while weeping on tears, hugging his father as it was his last tight hug.

"Grrrr, why! Whyy so early pa-paaa. HUHUHU! I will avenge your death papaaa! I swear HUHUHU! He said.

Then he saws a kid, watching their last moment with his father. That kid were Zyn, holding a knife givin to him by his father after killing Joseph' father.

"You bastard living creature HUHUHU! I will kill youuu to the deepest of hell HUHUHU!" Furious Joseph said to Zyn. And Zyn quickly ran.

End of the flashback.

"I had no doubts. Thats the brat. I remember that kid. He's the son of the great killer." Joseph said.

I replied, "Me? You sure?!."

"YES! Grr I will kill you!, I will kill you now!" Enraged Joseph. He wanted to kill me.

"Keep your feet calm asshole. We're not done yet. I'll ask them first then you can deliver your finishing blow." Her replied to Joseph.

"I have here question's and you must answer it honestly." She said while walking back and forth.

Her voice was the most frightening voice I've ever heard. Her aura, the way she talk and the way she walk, back and forth. She'll definitely kills one of us.

"Shit. What will gonna happen to us next." My thought in mind.

"Why would a young lizards willing to cross this nile?" She asked.

"Do you know that, this is our territory, our 'home'. Home of the most fearsome assassins of this region. All intruders who came up here got killed." She said.

"Do you see those skulls there? She point her fingers and she proudly uttered, "Those intruders who came here got
beheaded. And you three will be the next."

Mike spitted the woman's foot and said, "You son of b*tch why'd you do that?!!"

"Oh wow, look at him. His voice. He seems mad at me. HAHAHA."

Her comrade on mask whispered Mike, "You better not speak like that. You didn't know her well. She's our boss, Esdeath."

"Since you three surprisingly came here, I was. But that kind of attitude you're showing right now pisses me off." She loudly uttered infront of Mike.

With her condescending voice, she commanded her men and said, "Okay, take that shrimp-like head outta me."

The monkey-head like with mask took his sword from his waist, rose above to the sky and swift down to deepest of hell. The Blood rapidly shedded on the ground and we blood bath from his neck got sliced and he was decapitated with no mercy.

"I can't hold thisss. Wtf! grrrrr" I said to my mind. I clenched my fists tightly, nails digging into my palms. Thinking what would happen next.

"Does me will be the next person to be decapitate?" Shit!!

Those are my queries in mind. It made me anxious while I was forcing myself not to fight back. I was crying hard that time, and Nel as well.

We weren't able to fight back, 'cause if we fight back, they'll will just kill us. We were helpless with Nel. And our weapons has been removed.
