Every action has an equal and opposite reaction, and what is the opposite of peace and perfection? Chaos and disorder, pure and manifest, this dark force started ripping apart the universe bit by bit. Every star, constalation then galaxy was shredded by purple clouds and brighter coloured lightning.

Nothing survived the onslaught of the warp, but that did not mean nothing came out of it. The almighty god had forseen this but had hoped he could avoid it, as always he could not, however chaos seemed like quite a force, that could be used to create as well as destroy. Since in the ruins left behind by the warp were deamons and demons.

Deamons were humanoid creatures with wings, horns and tails, the perfection of imperfection. Meanwhile demons were chaotic creatures made out of parts of creatures from previous cycles of the universe, snake heads on crab bodies, with squidlike legs were one of the many odd and weird, often disgusting, combinations of creatures that made up a demon.

The distinct difference was that the deamons were a lot smarter whilst also being a lot weaker in battles, therefore they outlive the demons in terms of age however when a malovelent force tries to control the forces of the warp, deamons make up the bulk army and last a lot less in war than demons.

Of course after seeing this horrible manifestation of the warp and it's creatures the god was outraged, he devoted himself to creating a race of legendary warriors and peacekeepers to counter the threats of the warp... The Angels.
