"Kim Minji"

"Kim Minji" Y/n repeated.

"Yep, Kim Minji" A wide grin bloomed on Minji's face.

"That's a really nice name" Y/n complemented before realising what he/she just said, immediately averted Minji's eye contact.

"Thank you" Minji replied. "I must go now"

"Right, you must." Y/n bashfully scratched his/her head. "Hope you will find many great things in life, coz you deserved a good life." He/She said.

"Aww" Minji admired at the sudden positive advice. "Hope life's get better for you, Y/nnie" If all of those heart attacks weren't enough, the sudden nickname definitely exploded Y/n's heart.

"You too!!" Y/n replied with a thumbs-up. "Stay safe"

"Yep!!!" Minju shouted. The girl grabbed her luggage and began to walk towards the distance until her silhouette faded into the horizon. Y/n was paralysed. Never thought he/she would meet someone who is an equivalent of a diamond.

Wait, that was an understatement. She sparkled even brighter than any diamonds combined.

Y/n was still immersed in the admiration of the girl he/she just met, he/she forgot about one important question.

"Wait, the landlord said someone's moving in today....Nah don't dream big, Kim Y/n." Y/n lightly hit his/her head before trudging back to his/her apartment, feeling light from the lack of cash in his/her wallet and the lack of sufficient food in his/her belly.

"Alright, here's your room, Minji."

Upon opening the door, she was greeted by the simplicity of the small room that she will potentially live in for majority of her life. The bright white ceiling light illuminated the entire room, revealing the pure white colour scheme that covered almost all of the room, complemented with the brown wooden frames of the bedroom and the wooden table. Minji felt satisfied. At least it looked simple yet elegant, unlike other rooms for rent that she found on websites.

"It looks great, unnie." Tint of satisfaction was vocal on Minji's tone. The landlord widened her smile.

"Eyy, I like your familiarity" Both of them fist-bumped. "You can also call me Seulgi if you want, our ages are not that far away" Seulgi reassured the younger. "I'd feel older if too many call me unnie, almost everyone I know is younger than me." She faked a cry. Minji couldn't help but let out a little laugh. Seulgi joined.

"Anyway, it's pretty late now, I should leave you to rest. Call me if you need anything, Minji. Nighty night" Seulgi hurriedly ran downstair. Minji worried why Seulgi had to rush like that, but that thought was soon evaporated from her mind, replaced with the drowsiness. Minji stretched, relieving all the stresses from sitting all day in a train, and placed her spectacles on the table. Minji thought an early sleep would be rewarding, however, she had other thoughts.

With the luggage being thrown on top of the bed, Minji quickly opened it and scruffling all the neat arrangement of her clothes that her mum helped to place it all in the luggage. At the bottom of the luggage, Minji brightened at the unveiling of her stash of food. Her belly rumbled at the sight, she couldn't help but quickly unwrapped the pop tart and devoured it.
