What A Day (2)

As Kirishima and Todoroki fought against Stain, Midoriya is checking lida over his injuries.

"This is my problem against him!" The class president attempted to speak. "Stay away!"

"Oh really?" Izuku couldn't help but scoffed a little. "As far as I am aware, you're a student that aiming to be a hero."

lida flinched.

"I may not be known you guys for a while but from what I see," he continued. "If you did ended up beaten or kill him, your career is done for. Is this what you really want to be a hero?"

The engine user keep quiet.

"Do you think your brother want this?" That makes him flinched once more. "His hero career may be gone but he gave you his hero name and you're wasting it because of your actions! He gave you the title that make people safe and you're actually going to waste it in vain?"

Tears burst on his eyes.

"N-No."

"Then be a hero," Izuku narrowed his eyes. "A hero that you can make your brother proud! A hero that your brother always wanting!"

lida gritted his teeth, tears falling as he remember how his brother looks so fragile and weak on the bed. At the same time, his eyes still have the fire of determination and bright.

How could he ignored his surrounding when he focus on getting avenged for his brother...

Uraraka and Kirishima flashed in his mind, remember how worry they are, Shintaro and Izuku sharing with knowing gazes, and the teachers watching him.

Everyone are worried about him.

He pushed them away when they attempted to comfort him.

Shame and guilt grow inside of him as he watched helplessly as Kirishima got paralysed and Todoroki throwing flames at the vigilante.

"Stand lida-kun!" Midoriya looked at the fight with stern expression. "Stand and properly who you want to become! What kind of hero do you want to be?"

lida could feel himself standing shakily and dashed toward to countered against the katana that about to stab his classmate.

"R-Recipro Burst!" Then kicked the man away from Todoroki.

"lida!" Todoroki exclaims.

"lida!" Kirishima grins.

Izuku watched with small smile.

"Kirishima-kun... Todoroki-kun," lida gasped with breaths. "Forgive me... This time I will be a proper hero! I cannot allow you guys to fight this battle without me!"

"For someone who's bragging to be a hero," Stain growled. "You are nothing but a fake who prioritizes his own selfish need and a cancer to society with an idea of heroes."

"Don't talk as if you know everything!" Kirishima glared at him. "Unlike you, Shintaro-sensei and other clan members has different views and understand about everyone!"

'I am pretty sure that aniki hates heroes with full of greed,' Midoriya thoughts and sweatdrop mentally. 'There's no way aniki and others would like heroes! They hated them!'

"Don't listen to him lida," Todoroki said.

"No, he's right," lida shook his head. "I have no right to call myself as a hero."

"lida-kun..."

"But... if I died, then Ingenium will die as well! I am going to live and be a better hero to make my brother proud then so be it!"
