A tall, lean and masculine silhouetted figure stood in front of us. He gently placed his hands in his trouser pockets and continued to stand and stare right at us. My heart came out of my mouth, I was speechless. Despite this intensifying moment, I took immediate action and grabbed Sarah's hand, "Ignore him. Let's turn around and continue walking." Sarah being the lion heart that she is refused to listen to me and decided to take matters into her own hands, "Can we stop for a minute? Let me ask him what he wants" and so she did so, "Hey Sir! What do you want?" I felt like slapping Sarah at this moment but it was too late, we stood in silence waiting for this strange man to reply. There was still no response. Suddenly, the sound of footsteps overpowered the sounds of our breathing...the man slowly began walking towards us. Sarah sounded much more apprehensive this time, "What do you want?" The man ignored her question again and continued walking towards us, however, this time his pace was increasing. His face became more apparent as he approached a street light. Thick furrowed eyebrows. Stone cold piercing blue eyes. A smirk plastered across his well-groomed face. The alarm bells were uncontrollably ringing in my head. We had to run. I grabbed Sarah's arm and ran in the opposite direction. Extreme surges of anxiety and paranoia struck me. We had to hide immediately.
