Abnormal Being [Kimetsu no Yaiba]

The kakushis arrive not long after, and the news of Rengoku dying spread fast. When Tanjiro's about to tell the kakushis about Yokina, Yokina had already disappears without any traces.

Yokina recovers from her self-injury and was about to go on another demon hunt when she remember about the Hashiras. The Hashiras had already known of her presence. Then won't that mean she had a chance to be accepted as well?-

Speaking of Hashiras.. She also need to go to Giyu since she accidently came to his house the other day.

She's still a bit hessitant, but she need to take a grip of herself. Giyu's one of the first people to accept Nezuko's existence. He might accept her too..

That's why she'll go.

Yokina knocks the door, waiting patiently to be answered.

The door swiftly opens, "...You finally came," He told. Yokina nodded, and soon she was invited in. ".. thought you're a demon." He told, walking through the hall.

Yokina had a question mark, "I am."

Giyu slids the door to the guest room, "How can you walk when the sun's up?" He gesture Yokina to sit.

"..I always could.." Yokina mumble out.

Giyu looks at her, "Normally-"

"Yes, normally demons will be burnt when they walk in the sun, but I could okay?" Yokina pouts lightly looking away. "I've always could, from the start. From when I first ran away." She whisper out.

"..." Giyu sat across her and just stare at her.

Yokina just looked at Giyu with an annoyed face, "What is it?"

"I just thought you're weird."

Yokina gave a light snort, "How straightforward. That's probably why everyone hates you." That sentence made Giyu froze. The mainly black hair girl then observes the Water Hashira. "Can I ask you why did you let Tanjiro and Nezuko alive before?"

The atmosphere changed as Giyu starts to become a bit serious from the conversation's flow. "Because they're different." He replied.

"Different..? How so?"

Giyu takes his turn to observe the who-knows demon or not girl infront of him. She certainly isn't dangerous as she had always came to the Hashira meetings and the fact she still came, that means Master also known of her. But is that really true?

"When Tanjiro first attacks me to defend Nezuko and became unconscious, Nezuko defended him. Unlike other demons who would undoubtly eat a human."

Then again, Yokina who claims as a demon also had her own mind. She's still im the right mind, different from Nezuko herself.

"I see.." A soft smile took place in her face. A soft, relieved smile. "That's so admirable." Yokina then starts to frown, 'unlike me.'

Giyu notices the frown. "Are you really a demon?" He then decided to ask.

Yokina looks at her arm, "I am. But I don't know." She replied. "I'm not so sure anymore."

"How come?"

"You see my eyes? They're like humans' right?" Giyu nodded, "And I also have the regeneration and will get hurt by the Nichirin blade, and I also can use Demon Blood Technique." She starts to explain. "But unlike other demons I don't eat human..-"

She paused. 'Wait, is it a good choice to reveal everything? What if he doesn't believe me? What if in the end he doesn't trust me?' She once again turn pessimistic and grasp her arm, starting to scratch it. 'What if he'll use me to get to Muzan? What if he.. kills me..?--'

'What if he deems me a threat?' She sunked her nails into her arm in distress, surprising Giyu in a lot of meanings.

"Wait, what are you doing!?" Giyu hisses, pulling both her hands to keep it away. "Even if you're a demon and have regeneration, it's not good to injure yourself."

Yokina stares blankly at Giyu. "..why would you care?"

"Huh?"

"I'm a demon. Why would you care?" Yokina spit out venomly. Screw everything, she doesn't care anymore.

"I know you're different, and you yourself is a demon slayer right? A quite strong one. You're one of us then, what made you think I won't care?" Giyu seems a bit angry from Yokina's words, but he just told what he thought at that time.

Yokina pulled back her arm, curling down in embarrasment. "..that's an unfair statement.." she muffled out.

Giyu who didn't hear what Yokina said, confused as to what he should do now just stay silent, waiting for Yokina to be back again by herself. He thought Yokina's crying.

"Uh,-"

Yokina pouted as she finally turned her face back to Giyu, face bright red. "Can I trust you?" Giyu had a question mark but he then nodded with uncertaincity. Yokina who saw the nod lifted her face and heaved a breath.

"Alright.."

Yokina, still a little embarrased, sat back up formally and looked at Giyu. "I-I'll tell you from the start." She showed some determination and serious face. The water hashira nodded in reply, already intending to listen from the start.

Yokina licked her lip, "It all started hundredth of years ago.. When I was sold to Muzan Kibutsuji." She trailed off. "I and my twin sister were sold in exchange for some wealth and terittory rights. Although in the end both my parents got killed by Muzan." She scoffed.

She rubs her hand and continued, "after a few weeks or month, we both accidently knew about Muzan being a demon and was forced to turn into demons afterward. We then started to be trained by Muzan's demons so that we'll become stronger but in the end it's all just purely tortures which didn't leave any marks since we're demons." Her finger is getting itchy now, but she turned her eye towards Giyu who seems to be angry, perhaps?

"But then, he found out about our demon blood technique.. and he hogged Yuu-nee, my twin sister for her technique. I was enraged and attacked them but in the end I couldn't match them and ran away from there.- I escaped that hell by myself, leaving Yuu-nee.." The partly demon girl once again became reminded of her guilt and it made her felt her regret once again.

She bit her lower lip before continuing. "I was then being taken care by Yoriichi and Sumiyoshi.. and was taught many things from them before I went on my own to search for Muzan and attack him to get my sister back." She tighten her grip then, "but I'm still so weak.. I don't have the power to defeat Muzan and I still can't find Muzan's hideout."

"And I hate myself for that."
