"So," Eijiro said, "what happened with Mina, Sero and Kaminari?"

Bakugo grunted, "I don't wanna talk about it."

Kirishima pouted, "Come on~."

Bakugo sighed, "I dunno. They were saying how I should have stayed with the villains and I should be embarrassed about how I acted at the sports festival. I mean, they're right, I guess."

"Which one?"

"Both," Bakugo replied, "I probably would make a better villain than hero so-"

"Don't say stuff like that," Kirishima interrupted, "Bullshit. You're gonna be a great hero."

Bakugo laughed, dryly, "Right," he said, "do the villains know that?"

Silence filled the room.

"What happened to your hand?" Kirishima asked, referring to the bandage.

"Uhh, burnt it."

"H-how?"

"My fucking coffee," Katsuki nodded to the mug on the desk, "it's probably stone cold by now."

He made his way onto the desk and took a sip from the drink.

"Yep." He made a strange face that made Kirishima laugh, "Cold."

The redhead had no idea that Bakugo had been feeling that way. He didn't know the blond had been so hung up about his middle school life or his kidnapping.

Eijiro wishes he'd have asked earlier. He wished he'd been a better friend. Eijiro wishes a lot of things, so the least he could do was be there for Bakugo now.

"Bak-" Kirishima was about to give a heartfelt speech as he got interrupted by a knock on the door.

Bakugo put the cup down and answered it, revealing Denki, Mina and Hanta.

"Bakugo!" The trio cried.

"I'm so sorry."
"It was wrong of us, dude."
"Sorry, Bakugo."

They all stood quietly for a moment before Mina asked, "Can we come in?"

Bakugo nodded and lead them in.

Kirishima knew that Bakugo felt uncomfortable about letting them in. He's only ever let Kirishima into his room. It used to make him feel special.

Not anymore.

"Oh, Kiri?" Kaminari said, "You're still here?"

"Yep," Eijiro answered, shooting a concerned glance Bakugo's way.

"Well," Mina cleared her throat, holding up a plastic bag, "I know this is a pathetic apology however we didn't have much time to prepare."

"We're sorry, Bakugo," Sero continued, "We were so focused on the bad things about you, we forgot the good things."

"What we're trying to say is," Kaminari added, "from now on, we'll be better friends and we hope you'll do the same for us."

Bakugo looked between the three then the floor and back to them.

He sighed, took the bag whilst heavy stared laid on him. He looked into the bag and smirked, "It's okay, now I can just eat all my problems away."

The bag was filled with different sweets and puddings.

Bakugo seemed glad.

And the tense atmosphere was lifted.

Mina smiled, "I really hope you forgive us, Bakugo."

Katsuki hummed and silence filled the room again.

"Do you forgive us?" Denki asked.

Eijiro hoped Katsuki answered with a yes. Or closed to yes. Or just a positive remark.

All Bakugo said was, "I'll think about it."

And that was all Kirishima needed.
The three smiled.

"Well, we were about to play on my switch. So you're both invited." Denki asked.

Eijiro looked at Bakugo, who shrugged.

"Sure."

~

About an hour later, the group had finished a few rounds of Mario Kart and a whole competition of super smash bros.

Bakugo was playing an intense game with Mina and Sero.

Denki and Kirishima sat on electric blonds bed.

"Bro, is Bakugo okay?" Kaminari asked, voice just higher than a whisper, "he's been really quiet."

Kirishima sighed, "Dude, no, he isn't." He mumbled, "He's got a lot on his plate right now and what you guys did, didn't really help."

"Hey, don't say you're still mad at us."

"I'm not," Eijiro replied, "it's he was really upset earlier and I'm pissed off at myself for not asking sooner if he was okay."

"But it's not our fault if he doesn't want to talk to us. What did he say?"

"Bro, you know I can't tell you that." Kirishima said, "It's Bakugo's problem, not mine. If he's comfortable with telling you then he will."

Kaminari nodded and whispered, "Just know I'm frustrated at myself as well. I wish I'd been a better friend too."

~

"Hey, we should all get lunch," Mina suggested.

"It's on Sero though," Kaminari said.

"Nooo," Sero groaned, "why do I pay for everything?" He got ignored.

"There's this really nice restaurant down the road." Mina smiled, "I've been there before with the girls. Don't worry, Sero, it's really cheap."

Everyone agreed and left the dorms.

The journey there was quiet.
And awkward.

Kirishima tried very hard to keep conversations flowing.

He did not succeed in doing so.

Bakugo was finding it difficult too. He didn't know what to say to them.

They all reached the restaurant safely and ordered a big pizza to share.

The conversations weren't nonexistent now. However, still awkward.

"So Bakugo," Denki said, "are you okay?"

Their food hadn't arrived yet, so Bakugo couldn't preoccupy himself with stuffing his face.

He sighed, "Yeah, fine."

There was no way Katsuki was gonna explain everything to them like he did with Kirishima. No way.

So all he did was eat pizza for the rest of their outing.

He didn't talk to them.

He didn't feel like talking to them.

And he doesn't know when he's gonna feel like talking to them again...
