Kirishima's POV

Once I found Mina, I waved and ran up to her.

"Hey Mina" I greeted her with a smile. She ran up to me and gave me a great big hug

"Hey Kiri. How's my favorite and awesomest friend in the world doing?" She asked as she grabbed my face, squishing my cheeks together. I chuckled and pushed her off me gently.

"I don't know, I never met any of your other friends" I stated, laughing a bit. Mina laughed, playfully punching me in the shoulder.

"I was talking about you, silly" she laughed some more.

"I'm not awesome, nor do I have the right to be your favorite, your to cool to have a friend like me, you could do so much better than me, too" I stated, looking at the ground, fiddling with my fingers. I looked up from the ground to see Mina giving me a glare. I quickly looked back down. "Sorry for ruining your good mood" I apologized to her, but she just kept glaring. 'great, I can't even keep my only friend, who was nice enough to put up with me, from getting mad at me' I thought

"Damn right you ruined my good mood," knew it, I did make her mad. "by putting me in a sad mood" Wait, what!

" You're not mad at me?" I asked as I looked up at her.

" Why would I be mad at you?" She asked. "Kiri, I hate when your so insecure, cause it makes me want to cry. I don't want you to think that you're not good enough to be friends with others, when it's them who aren't good to be friends with you. You my friend are to pure, innocent, and nice to be friends with those dick heads, and that's the tea sis" As she finished, I looked at her almost in tears, but then a thought came to mind and I started to laugh. Mina looked at me in confusion.

"What's so funny?" She asked, still confused.

"I'm just thinking about how quickly this conversation escalated from such a happy mood to such a droopy one, all because I just had to have a sad moment" I spoke whispering the last part to myself. Once I was done laughing, I looked at Mina, and we just stared at each other for a moment, then we broke down into a laughing fit. We continued to laugh until we heard the warning bell for class.

"Oh shit, Kiri was that the warning bell meaning we have one minute to get to class?" she asked me.

"Yep" I gave a short answer.

"And our class just so happens to be on the other side of campus"she stated

"Yep" I answered again.

"And we're just standing here, stating the obvious?"

"Uh-huh" we stared at each other for a moment...

"WE'RE GOING TO BE LATE FOR CLASS!!!!" We both shouted, and in just two seconds we were both racing down the halls trying to get to class. Few more seconds we were coming up to our class door with it beginning to shut. Mina tried to catch the door, but was to late.

"Dammit" she muttered. I walked up to the door and knocked. It took a moment, but the door finally opened, reveling a not even fazed teacher.

Mina opened her mouth to give one of her "good" excuses, but the teacher spoke before she had the chance to.

"I don't want to hear one of your ridiculous excuses, just get in the class and take your seat" Mina pouted, I was about to say something, but closed my mouth once she began to speak again."Only five more days until the school year is over and you kids will be gone, some gone forever thankfully, I just have to survive until then" she sighed.

Mina and I turned to each other and smirked, trying to hold in our laughter as we walked into the classroom.

After three class periods, it was time for lunch, which for most people is the best part of the day. Not for this guy.

"Kiri, please eat something" Mina pleaded, giving me a worried look.

"I'm not hungry" I responded back, pushing my tray away giving her a slight smile.

"Fine then, can you at least eat this apple to make me happy?" She asked me with pleading eyes. I sighed and took the apple. Just as I was about to take a bite, Haru, the school bully, walked up to us.

"Hey fag, I wouldn't eat that if I were you, unless you want to become more fat than you already are. At that rate no boy will find you attractive, not that you'd ever be loved by anyone in that way, scratch that, your not loved at all" Haru and his little gang laughed, while Mina gave the a death glare. If looks could kill, they would surely be dead. I sighed and put I apple on the tray I pushed away. I looked at Mina who have a sad look. She then stood and spoke.

"Get lost Haru, nobody cares about what you have to say. Your just a bully because you yourself are gay, and are afraid to come out the closet. Just because you have a crush on Kiri doesn't mean you have to be mean to him. And FYI, Kiri is to good to be with a sad excuse of a human being, such as you" there was a few laughs and giggles here and there, as Mina finished and stood proud. I was about to laugh, when Haru gave me a glare saying 'if you laugh, you're dead', which I thought wasn't a bad idea , but I need to protect Eiko, so I didn't laugh.

Haru let out a growl, and stomped away with his 'friends'. I thanked Mina, then the bell rung signaling the end of lunch. Mina and I walked to our next class, which we had together, thankfully.

"Kiri, you know you're not fat right?" Mina asked me. I looked down, as I was about to speak Mina put a hand on my shoulder. "Kiri, you're not fat, okay. And if you keep thinking so low of your self, then I'm going to punch you with self-love and friendship until you get it in your head that your perfect the way you are, is that clear?" I shook my head and smiled at her.

"Good, now let's get the rest of this horrible day done and over with" we both laughed and made our way to class. It was alright the rest of the day, when finally the bell that signaled the end of the day rung. I waved goodbye to Mina as we part ways. I saw Eiko waiting for me, and ran up to her.

"You ready to go?"she asked. I nodded, and we were off back to the hell-hole we call home.
