Chapter 3:The Journey

Two days since the death of Kennen Monteroy. The entire village was effected cause of it. All missionaries visited his grave to set prayers to ward off all the evil that was casted on his body. But no one else in the village visited Kennen's grave then Sythinic. All day he would pace back and forth in front of his grave just waiting for his father. Everyone in the village thought for a five year old, he was very foolish. But Desmond knew why. He knew why he was more depressed. Not the fact that Kennen raised him, but for the fact that Kennen was the one who gave Sythinic his power.

Ever since Sythinic was born, he was a weakling. His heart was going to give up on Sythinic cause of his human heart mixed with a Juveran blood.

Sythinic was a hybrid.

He was born on Juverox but his mother was a human. Causing her own body to die on Juverox. When Kennen knew that Sythinic was going to die, he gave up half his heart to replace it with Sythinic. Both of their hearts where combined making a Juveran and Human heart. Both Kennen and Sythinic were one. But during the operation, Kennen made a request, to give a piece of his memory to Sythinic. Kennen gave Sythinic the memory of knowledge, giving him the power to know.Without Kennen's intention on giving him his heart and knowledge, Sythinic would have died.

Sythinic never gave up pacing back and forth in front of Kennen's grave.

"Please wake up Dad..I know your alive." Sythinic thought that repeatedly.Desmond on the other hand,observed him.

"Sythinic..no matter how much you deny it, Kennen is dead." said Desmond.

"Shut up!He isn't dead!" cried Sythinic.

"Denying it will only cause you to become insane Sythinic." said Desmond.Sythinic left a bitter silence and Desmond walked away.Then suddenly, a masked rider on a horse came to Desmond.

"Who are you?" said Desmond.

"I am one of the Highland Officials, I come to convey a message from Headmistress Brookshire from Black Wood Academy." said the masked rider.

"Black Wood Academy?Ok.." said Desmond.The rider gave the message to Desmond and rode off.

**The Letter Said**

To Sythinic and Desmond Monteroy,

We of the Black Wood Academy staff duct you two worthy to attend our wondrous school.Full of many classes such as Mage, Assassin, Medic and so worth.

You, Desmond Monteroy,have been selected into the Assassin Class as First Chair.

And you,Sythinic Monteroy, have been selected into the Warriror Class as First Chair.

Both of you are part of the Four Leaf Council.A Council consisting all First Chairs of all Classes.Keep in mind that Black Wood Academy is a life and death house. Both of you can die at our school grounds to one of your fellow students. The chairs are selected by how many deaths you consist of.  More deaths, higher your chair. Now keep in mind that the Four Leaf Council is the most powerful group of students to know. Do not put shame on us. Don't die yourself or loose to another student.

Please consider our offer. We had news that Kennen Monteroy, our founder died. We ask you greatly to grasp this opportunity on greatness.

**End of Letter**

"Sythinic..come on.." said Desmond.

"Where are we going." said Sythinic.

"Black Wood Academy." said Desmond.

"But, don't we need to a letter from a Highland Official?" said Sythinic.

"I have it right here..now lets go.."said Desmond.

"But Black Wood Academy is so far away. Its on another planet!" said Sythinic.

"I have a way to get there." said Desmond.Desmond slowly opened the envelope and started to open up the gateway to Black Wood Academy. The gate was black and misty enough to blind both of their eyes. A sign was on the top of the gate stating "Pass through the gate to travel throughout time. To make you stronger, are you willing to sacrifice your life? This gate will skip your life spand to a demon's will so you will be equally matched in the game."

"Let's get going Sythinic..." said Desmond stepping through the gate. Sythinic slowly stepped in with hesitation. Then slowly, the gate grew hands to fully absorb Sythinic inside. The gate inside was so unique. It was consisting of all memories that both Sythinic and Desmond had. From birth to their birthdays. All had picture frames throughout the gate. Then, the memories went inside of Desmond. All of their past memories flew into the skull of Desmond causing him to look some what eighteen. Desmond was screaming loudly when Sythinic was standing by terrified. Then suddenly, a girl appeared. She looked some what of a six year old. Red hair, orange eyes with ears and tail of a fox.

"Where am I?" the little girl spoke.

"W-Who are you?" said Sythinic.

"Piper..Piper Rose." said Piper.

"How the hell did you get in here?" said Sythinic.

"The question is how did you get in my gateway?" said Piper.

"I don't-" then Sythinic was transforming. He had all his memories injected inside and became an eighteen year old. He was slowly sinking to his knees screaming. Behind was Desmond. He was so pale and dark. He was pale with black hair. Red eyes and had a mask covering his mouth. He was very mysterious. Piper just looked behind to stare at Desmond.

"Who..who the hell are you people?" said Piper. Then finally Piper was effected. She turned into a nineteen year old and started looking different. But something was going on. Both Piper's memories and Sythinic and Desmond's were injected inside. She was starting to cry blood and screamed loudly.  But somehow she was alive.

Then, a hand reached on Desmond's wrist and he was carried off to another gate at the end.
