Life isn't supposed to be like this. I thought it was supposed to be good, but my life isn't. All I do is pretend that everything is alright, but it's not. At school all I do is walk down the halls and the sea parts. Everybody thinks my life is so perfect, but it's not.
It all started in Opal Middle school. I was in grade seven, and all I could think about was how unpopular I was. The most popular of the popular had braces, so most of the girls in my school asked there parents if they could get them. Dumb right? I was one of those girls that asked if I could get braces, but of course my mom said, in exact these words
"You don't need braces hon, your teeth are as straight as a pencil!" All I said to her after she said that so unpopular mom sentence was.
"A pencil? Really? Wow!" Then went straight to my room because I just couldn't handle her anymore.
