After days of traveling, the guard had almost arrived at the tree of life. In about 10 minutes they would arrive.
(8 minutes later inside the tree)
Rani: (starts to cry)
Makini: I know, I miss kion to.
Rani:(sniff) I didn't think I'd miss him this much. I knew I'd cry but not this much.
Makini: I know, you guys were soul mates.
Rani: (crying) clearly not. I'd do anything, just to get 5 more minutes with him.
Just the Nirmala came rushing in.
Nirmala: Rani! You need to com. NOW!
Rani: came rushing out as Nirmala led her to the pass, but when she got there she nearly had a heart attack.
She saw kion and the guard standing there.
Kion wanted to be cool and say something like, what's us or how's it hanging, but seeing her, he couldn't find the words. His eyes locked with hers and neither one dared to blink.
Eventually they ran up to each other a embraced each other in a hug, then Rani put her head under kions.
Rani: (crying) (happy) your back! I thought you had a duty to the pride lands.
Kion: from now on. You are my duty, that is, if your offer for king is still available.
Rani couldn't help it and kissed him.
Rani: it sure is.
Author notes
Short chapter today. So this is the end of the story. I will make 3 new stories. 1 called after life and it's about king kion and queen Rani so it's an after version of this story. But it will be short. 2 nd story is called soul mates, kind of. ands it's about 2 lions of my own creation finding there love. 3 is called a slight change of fate. It's about what would happen if kion grew up in the tree of life or Rani in the pride lands
