At start, when Manella and I started parting ways, it did not hurt. We were too busy having fun and I believe proving ourselves to gain a sense of belonging from our respective peer group.
Don't get me wrong, She was my best friend who I happily met and talk from time to time and even would make plan with some of her friends. Despite peer groups were classified as popular, rebels, jocks.. at high school. At the end of the day, we were all friends who spent years together.
2010
In a blink of an eye, we were in year 4 of High School. Manella and I were back in the same class. I was known to be a rebel and Manella started to became distant. Not for what I am cause I would never push her for something she did not want to.She found her best friend.
You heard it correctly. Her best friend.
You may consider someone to be your best friend but you can not be theirs. Always remember that.
You may think I hated the girl she befriended and you cannot be more wrong. I was curious.
