Finding Out

It all started on a pretty normal Saturday morning; curtains closed, blankets over her head and completely sound asleep. Her mom comes barging in causing a complete ruckus to wake her up.

Tamira's P.O.V.
"Oh Tamiraaaaa" I'm scared awake by the sudden loud noise while not fully adjusted to the noise and quite awake yet I notice its just my mom and roll back over and groan.
"Argggghh mom stop I'm trying to sleep," I say still half asleep and irritated my mom just woke me up. "Noo, your father has some exciting news to tell you," she answers "Ryan!! Come here and tell her." My mom yells excitedly. I hear my dads heavy feet on the floor semi speeding to my room, "is it safe?" He asks before barging in like my mom. "Yes, yes its safe come on stop being silly tell her already" my mom basically squeals out of excitement. "Well, honey. I know I've been at Sign Inc. for awhile now here in Toronto, and its pretty good pay....." "Dad spit it out the suspense is killing me" I answer intrigued as well as a bit annoyed and rushing his response. "Okay, okay" he says jokingly defensive, "we're moving!, they've moved the old building unit to a place in Hamilton...and since I'm apart of the building unit we're moving it just makes it easier than having to drive back and forth.." He smiles nervously "are you excited? surprised? happy? anything??" He says trying to look for a reaction on my face. My mouth hung open a bit trying to process the news that my dad just sprung on me my eyes seemed stuck in a stare I was speechless. *surprised pikachu*
"Yea, dad I'm surprised," i say a bit upset inside but I didn't want to make a fuss because obviously my parents really were excited about the move, so I tried to suck it up "...so, when do we move?" I asked him "next Saturday" he replied in a chirpy tone "What!?" I exclaimed in shock not only was this new surprising but now I find out I have a WEEK to pack everything!! My parents seemed to notice I was a bit mad and upset so they left, before my mom left my room she said "I know it's sudden... but I think this move will be good for all of us, a clean slate. you know?" She said with a look of sympathy "if you need any help packing just let me know." She finished before leaving my room.
I was full of emotions right now but I didn't quite know which one I truly felt was I upset or was I just being stubborn maybe the move could be good I thought. I have a few friends here I'm not very popular I'm known by many but I'm not friends with many, I called my friends to let them know I'll be moving they were pretty upset but understanding.

With no other choice, I began to pack. During the week after school I'd just pack and pack and soon enough Saturday came and we were on our way to our new place in Hamilton.
