I stomped up to my room and just bashed my head into my pillows. Why did this have to happen to me? Why?
An hour later, I finally finished crying when I realized my covers were covered in mascara and sopping wet.
So I asked my mom to wash them when she got home from the grocery store.
And then I heard the doorbell ring. Oh great, who could it be now? I looked through the door hole and guess who happened to be standing outside my flipping door?
Jacob..!
I didn't want to let him in but at the same time, I wanted to.
So I unlocked the outer layer and then the second layer..
I saw a side of him I'd never seen before; he had messed up hair, his eyes were bloodshot, and his jeans weren't normally ripped up the way they were as I observed him. It had looked like he had been crying for a while just like me.
Without even thinking, I blurted out, "What do you want?"
"Well I've been thinking about you all day and I just can't get you off my mind."
"Join the party."
"I'm really---"
"Let me stop you there, I told you once we are through. What do you not understand? I'm tired of trying so hard with you and then you just give up on me. So you can just leave and go on back home." I realized that I was starting to tear up.
As he went to turn around I whispered to myself, "I still love you" but I didn't say it loud enough for him to hear it.
