Going from a really boring English class to Art History was a complete 180 for me. I actually enjoy art, and I believe you can always learn something new even after practicing it for so long. I was actually looking forward to this lesson. The teacher, Ms. Midnight, was a delight and seemed pretty chill.

For the lesson, she wanted us to just have a free hour to draw instead of giving us a lecture. I was excited before I realized that I may be in it for round #2 for questions. Taking out my notebook that I sketched my hero costume in, I decided on finishing it so I can actually submit it soon. I didn't really know why Principal Nezu decided on giving us the paperwork the day we got to class, instead of when we got our acceptance letters, but I couldn't argue with the man- the mouse? What even was he?

Mindlessly sketching out ideas, and wondering if I could just wear workout clothes in place of a costume, I didn't notice Ms. Midnight leaving the classroom. In addition to this, I didn't notice a couple of heads turning towards me while I innocently debated on what I wanted my color scheme to be. Startling me out of my relaxed state, was the voice of the energetic pink girl who sat in front of me, accompanied by Pikachu. "So, Ikari, do you want to sit with us during lunch? It's next period." At that, Eijiro looked up. Maybe they sat at the same table?

I blinked at them thinking about their request. It would be great for me to make friends, but I did want to find the others in my group. "Well, are the other courses also having lunch at the same time?" They shared a look before Pikachu spoke up.

"I'm not completely sure, we don't really pay attention, heh..." I slightly hummed while taking out my phone. They looked at me confused while I texted the group-chat if any of them would be free during lunch, and when their lunch periods were. I quickly got a reply from everyone stating the same lunch period. Though they already had planned on sitting with their classmates to bond.

Confirming my assumption, I smiled back at the duo in front of me.

"If you guys won't mind, I would love to sit with y'all!" Pink girl cheered at my statement and started off on a rant that she wanted another girl in the group. Pikachu and Eijiro shared her excitement, which kinda confirmed my assumption that Eijiro was in their group. Though I felt that there were more people in their group than just them. I didn't want to ask seeing as our teacher walked in amid our conversation. That quickly silenced the trio and allowed me to continue my sketch blissfully.

By the end of the hour, I had mostly finished the rough draft of my hero costume and only needed to add colors. Putting it in my bag, quickly this time, I prepared to leave the classroom making sure I had my phone with me. The pink girl, I really needed to ask her name, linked arms with me, and skipped out of the room with Eijiro, Pikachu, Elbows, and Pomeranian following her. Shit, don't tell me Mr. Anger Issues is with their group. The elbow guy seemed chill, like someone you would expect to smoke a fat joint and just vibe. But Pomeranian? He literally insulted me to my face: I'm still salty. Ignoring the bad vibes behind me, I continued on having a lighthearted conversation with Pinky.

"I really want you to come to this sleepover with me and the girls! It would be really fun and it would be a great opportunity for you to get to know everyone! Please say you can go, pleeease." Okay, a sleepover with my female classmates would be a good idea, a good place for people to get to know each other. Though the thought of hanging around people I don't really know is giving me a lot of anxiety, it would be good for me. Maybe even by then, I will actually know their names!

"I'll ask, but I'm pretty sure I can go." At that, she cheered, and started talking about all the information I would need to know about the sleepover. She asked for my phone, putting in her number so I could talk to her if needed. Looking at the contact, I finally figured out her name. 'Mina Ashido,' huh? I mean, that's one way of finding out someone's name.

Making it to the lunchroom, we got in line for our food. Eijiro was ranting to me about how good the food was, and how it was made by the famous pro hero Lunch Rush, stating that 'I would love it.' Honestly, at this point anything edible would be fine with me; not eating in the morning because of anxiety and being rushed here after being picked up from the airport ended up not being a good idea, and when I stated that I haven't eaten all day, the group was appalled.

Eijiro was the first to voice his concern. "Bro, are you okay? You always have to have a balanced meal! You have to be energized!" The fact that he thought that even if I ate something I would be energized is laughable. Really, they should be concerned about the lack of sleep. That's something that would affect my energy levels. Pikachu also agreed with Eijiro.

"Yeah, I ate a pop-tart this morning! A balanced meal is important!" He nodded as if he was giving legendary advice.

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. "I'm pretty sure a pop-tart is not a balanced meal." Elbows came to Pikachu's defense; probably because that's what he ate also.

"At least it's better than nothing!" I mean, he got me there.

I shrugged. "Fair enough."

Finally getting our food, I followed the group to their table. We passed by Taylor's table where they were chatting with a group of their new peers. I received a smile from them, and I gave one back. I was glad we were fitting in just fine, even with the set back of almost 2 weeks. Getting to the group's table, I was stuck between Pomeranian and Eijiro.

Lovely.

Honestly, Eijiro is great, but Pomeranian has only been giving me glares and kept on scoffing every time I spoke. Making idle chat with the bros while eating, I was debating if I should man up, and ask for their names. It's honestly pathetic that I haven't asked yet.

Taking a sip of my water- hydrate, or you'll diedrate- I got the group's attention. "I know I should've asked this a while ago, but what are your names? I only know Eijiro over here." The vibe seemed to freeze at the table. Fuck. I knew asking their names would make things weird. I looked at them worried; no one was saying anything. Pomeranian rolled his eyes because of my reaction.

"You called Shitty Hair by his first name, dumbass." I blinked at the Pomeranian. Uh, duh: I called him by his first name, that's his na- Oh shit. Using someone's first name here in Japan meant that they were close. Haha, oops. I turned to Eijiro beside me, who was lowkey turning the same shade as his hair.

"Uh- sorry! You could call me Layla if you want!" He's turning more red. How is that even possible? Bruh, does he have a fire quirk? At that point, the rest of the group was just smirking at us like Eijiro wasn't going to die from heatstroke. Oh my god, is he okay? First day at U.A. and I think I killed a man, and I don't even know how.

Fanning him with my hand, I managed to calm him enough that he was just a light pink. That was the weirdest reaction to someone calling you by your first name but go off I guess. I offered to refer to him by his last name, but he insisted it was fine. I doubted it, but I just went with it, agreeing.

In the end, I did find out their names. Elbows was Hanta Sero, Pikachu was Denki Kaminari, and Pomeranian was Katsuki Bakugo. This time, I made sure that I got their permission to refer to them as their first names. Well, besides Katsuki; I think Pomeranian fits him better, anyway. In turn, I convinced them to call me by my first name since I still wasn't used to it even after all these years.

All in all a successful lunch period!
