Knowing that she made it to the weekend, Jordan woke up Saturday morning feeling a lot better. Her first week at the new school wasn't the greatest but that is how those days usually go. Getting up and taking a shower early in the morning wasn't a thing that normally happened for Jordan as she usually slept until midday. After getting dressed, she walked into the kitchen to find her dad making breakfast. As soon as her eyes fell upon her dad, she stopped dead in her tracks not knowing what to say. It had been a long time since she seen her dad cook a meal. It was something that him and her mother loved to do together before she died.

"W-what's going on dad?" Jordan stuttered as she sat down at the table.

"Does there have to be an occasion? I just missed cooking and I missed my sweet little angel!" Leo stated as he walked over putting a plate in front of his daughter. He leaned down to kiss her on her forehead until Jordan pulled away.

"You haven't cooked since mom died. You haven't talked to me since she died. Hell you barely paid any sort of attention to me at all. What changed?" Looking down at the floor uncomfortable, a tear fell from her face. "I needed you and you weren't there. Do you honestly think that you get to choose when to be a parent?"

Before he could answer, Jordan took off out the door. She didn't know where she was going but she just hopped in her car and started driving. Without thought, she ended up at her mother's grave sight. After the funeral, she couldn't bring herself to come back. It made her sick knowing that her mother was lying in a coffin 6 feet under so she refused to visit all the times that her dad offered. In that moment, something was drawing her to it. She sank to her knees with tears dripping from her eyes like a waterfall as she stared at the head stone with her mothers name on it. Without knowing how it was going to help, Jordan prayed to her mother for some reassurance that everything would indeed be alright. The sun was shining down upon the graveyard with clouds walking across the sky. Jordan lifted her head from the grave stone to see Dean standing across the yard from her as the sun landed on him lighting him up. Not quite knowing what to do she sat there watching his lips move. The way the sun brightened his gleaming green eyes sent a tingle down her spine. Some minutes went by until Dean felt eyes resting on him. Noticing Jordan out of the corner of his eye, he started to approach her.

"What are you doing here?" Dean asked quietly. I took a moment to gather my thoughts and words that I was going to say.

"I am visiting my mom," I simply replied with my voice cracking. "What are you doing here?"

"I am also visiting my mom. She passed away a couple years ago. I have to get going but if you ever need someone to talk to that understands, I'm here." He said before walking away.

I watched him walk to his beautiful 67' Chevy Impala. It was, oddly enough, my favorite car. I couldn't decide which I loved more, the way the slick black shimmered in the sunlight or the pitch blackness of it when the sun sank down. The thought of driving that car down the coast with the windows down made my body tingle.

When I got home, my dad was gone which didn't come as a shock to me. As I was sitting in my car, a ding came from my phone. I grabbed it to check it when I noticed it was from Dean sending me a friend request on Facebook. Debating on whether I should even accept it, another notification came through but this time it was a message from him. When I made the decision to read it I opened it up. Party at my house tonight.. I hope you come. 4546 Remembrance Rd. My answer was a heavy no but I ended up not responding. Walking inside I thought about the party and how my first experience went down. We were at Maddison's house because her parents were out of town. Everyone was drinking obviously, including me. I started to feel a little too tipsy so I set out to find the bathroom. Opening a door I thought was the bathroom, I see a girl crying with a guy on top of her and seeing as how I was raised, I shoved him off. He tried to attack back before getting kneed in the crotch which sent him running out of the door. The girl laying on the bed let out a sigh of relief and jumped out of bed hugging me. After that night I tried to go to as many parties as I could simply to keep people safe. That's when it hit me that this party was going to be something I had to go to.
