Chapter 2
"Hobi, why do you look so sleepy? Did you get any sleep?" She asks me worriedly, cupping my face."I just couldn't sleep, but I'm feeling just fine."
"Okay, well I'll be leaving now, get some rest okay. Stay inside and if you're gonna get in the pool again make sure to put on sunscreen. Love you, honey." She smiled as she kissed my forehead.
"Bye, love you too!" I said back as she left my room with her purse over her shoulder. I sit next to my ceiling fan, still wondering why this had to happen to me like I hadn't thought of the question years ago and every single day. I'm special, right? I decided to just stare at my ceiling fan until my eyes got tired of the light. I saw green dots everywhere afterward.
"Why can't this be my problem, seriously." I turn off the lights in my room with two claps and head downstairs to the kitchen, being able to see a bit more clearly without circles everywhere.
That's what I get for looking at the light for so long.
I walked over to the fridge thinking I was going to get my black socks dirty for some reason, they could but rarely. The top part of the fridge reached my face so it was easy to get what I wanted.
"Mmm- yeah, I actually don't want anything." I close it and look around.
"... and this is why I can't have a pupper!" I get down on my knees and complain like a child then sit down sighing and yawning.
I don't like living in the woods but love nature, probably cause that's all I ever see in person. Person...
"What's that sound? Is that a bike? I watch movies so I'm pretty sure that... is?" I start posing like what I call a pupper that's about to jolt into action. Bike! I jolted up and started running past all of the ceiling lights like parkour I've been doing for years. It comes to an end where if I take another step I would end up falling on the chandelier below me hanging, or I could fall on the ground in front of the door.
"Gosh, let's test my durability shall we?" I chuckled a bit nervously, not thinking about any of the consequences. I knew it would hurt later on once the blood in my body is on the other side where it should have naturally been... but it had to be a meanie hed.
Oops, no cursing Hobi. :7
"Okay, looks like death is waiting on the other side of that door so let's check it out." I tell myself sarcastically stepping onto the carpet, the biking stopped so I froze for a second and decided to open the door slowly.
Curiosity hit me in the face. Ddaeng it.
Luckily my mother hasn't set up any alarms yet so all is clear.
I walked out looking around not bothering to act like I've seen the porch I was standing on. I hurried down a few steps closer to see it was a boy, he was wearing blue ripped jeans and a black and white hoodie with a character named naruto? eating noodles. It was sunny but it was windy in the mornings so it made sense for a hoodie.
"Oh, hey! Sorry to interrupt you or to even step foot on your property. But, do you by any chance have a bicycle pump I could borrow? I'd really appreciate it, oh and a bandage? It's fine if you don't-"
"Y-yes, it's fine, would you- agh!" I felt pain jolt into my head as I felt a liquid come down from my ear. I covered it with my hand feeling it run down my wrist.
"You okay?"
"Y-yes, I'm fine, just a headache... that's all. Come in and I'll help you out, just take your shoe your off kay. B-be rig- back right..." I stuttered as I ran off inside, almost falling over the staircase because I've never gone up them before, nor down them. I rush to the bathroom to my left and put my hands on the counter to see red staining my hand and ear, it's blood.
