Big Hearted Emperor

QingTi xianzhe entered TaiChen palace with a wrapped scroll in hand. These days he has been running errands here and there for Dijun. And this scroll was the latest one. Earlier, Dijun had instructed Qingti to get the scroll from SiMing Xinjun. QingTi had asked which scroll, but Dijun only said SiMing will know which. QingTi was very puzzled, but he went and obeyed Dijun.

Serving Dijun was very different compared to WangJun. Dijun was more relaxed, he would leisurely spending his time with his Empress and little prince rather than being knee deep in memorandums like Song Xuanren in the past. Nevertheless since he got his immortal body from the Empress and a place in Taichen palace from Dijun, he would do his upmost best to suit his new Immortal live and position.

He went to the starlord palace and upon seeing SiMing he immediately said Dijun sent him to get the scroll. SiMing instantly understood, and took one scroll out of the highest rack, wrapped it with cloth and handed it to him. When SiMing XinJun handed him the wrapped scroll, his expression was full of sympathy, he even lightly patted QingTi shoulder before sending him back. This puzzled him even more.

QingTi walked for abit around TaiChen palace before finding Dijun leisurely fishing on a pavilion beside the pond. Small figure of GunGun was fast asleep leaning on Dijun with his hands half clutching on a small fishing rod. Clearly Dijun was teaching him fishing, but the small prince felt it was too boring and had thus fell asleep. QingTi lightly approached them and made a small bow, Dijun put down his fishing rod, and took the scroll from him, he opened them and began to read it for a while.

QingTi keeps his eyes fixed on the ground as he didn't know what to do, Dijun hadn't excused him, but he also didn't give him anymore instructions. When he lifted his head to politely ask Dijun, he saw what was written on the scroll tag, 'Song XuanRen'. QingTi felt his blood drained, The Emperor was reading book of fate about his mortal incarnation.

Truth is this thing had worried him for a while after he learned about Dijun and Song XuanRen relationship. He heard about Dijun great jealousy from number of people. As a general he could riskily offend a king. But Dijun was the former emperor of heaven and earth, who led 72 generals and unified the world in the past. A mere 200 years old fairy, is nothing but a dust in front of His Majesty. This cause him to tremble a little bit.

He was going to plead again, but Dijun shushed him. He sneaked a glance and found Dijun's expression had considerably soften.

QingTi earlier loud plead slightly aroused GunGun from his sleep, and made the Little Prince's brows creased, Dijun patted and laid GunGun down on the small chaise he just conjured, so GunGun could sleep more comfortably. Then he gestured QingTi to stand up and follow him, to the small bridge nearby.

QingTi was raking his brain on how to explain his affection for Jiu Furen was never returned when Dijun patted him on the shoulder and smiled, "It was but a thing in the past, you have new life now. Cherish it."

He was perplexed then he bowed to Dijun, "Th-Thank you, Your Majesty" in his heart QingTi couldn't believe that Dijun would let this matter go easily, but Dijun's kind words and smile made QingTi's heart calmed down a bit, 'Dijun is truly a revered emperor, He is big hearted and kind to all beings' was his thoughts. He truthfully didn't know why His 3rd Highness LianSong said Dijun smile is a very scary thing.

"Tomorrow I will go to Holy Blue Sea to retreat, you will come along with me" Dijun next words caught him by surprise.
"Didn't ChongLin usually.." his answer was cut short by Dijun

LianSong had only stepped into TaiChen palace gate when ChongLin greeted him with a bow.
"3rd highness came at the wrong time, Dijun had already left for a retreat to Holy Blue Sea"
