Matt's pov
After that night Sam refused to talk because she made a mistake. I tried every time to talk but she ran in shame. When we were at school she hid in the girl's bathroom or at home she locked her door.

So I waited one day for her as she left her window open. I grabbed a ladder and climbed to her room. As I sat on her bed she walked right past me blasting Marilyn Manson in her ears.

She took out the headphone as she looked at a long white stick. She picked it up and started to cry as I called her name. As she looked up I asked what was wrong.

"Fuck Matthew you shouldn't be here," she said.

"Why your my girlfriend, not Brad's and he got you drunk," I replied.

She sighed and said I still cheated on you drunk or not. I knew she felt horrible about her one night with a brad. Then I asked what that pointing to her hand.

"It's a pregnancy test," she declared.

"Is that why you're avoiding me," I replied.

She looks back at the test as I knew she was in trouble.

"I'm not pregnant," she cried.

"Baby that's good news your lucky not to be knocked up by my asshole brother, " I said happily.

"It wasn't Brad's, " she explained.

"How do you one time can still work," I said.

Then I remember that we had sex before school all the time and we rushed it and a few times she forgot her pill. She cried and explained if she was pregnant that she would have given up on brad and been mine forever.

As reality slapped me in the face I knew that I could have won her heart. She sat down crying telling that brad confessed that he loved her back. I just hugged her telling her that everything happens for a reason little did I know that our relationship was going to get rough in the next 3 years.

Samantha's pov
That day Matt change after he finished high school I had another 3 years. He decided not to go to college but party more and smoked weed with his friends.

I worked hard for my education to go to college. The day comes that I graduated high school. I was packing my things as Matt come into my room.

"Hey you ready to go party, "he asked.

"Matt, I told you I'm not a party person with strangers," I replied.

He looked at my suitcase and said where are you going.

"I have decided to go to college and not waste my life," I answered.

He looked pissed when I said that.

"Please tell me it's not the same college that brad went to," he said.

"Yes it is and I and my cousin Janin are going to have our jobs, "I replied.

"janin that Neil's new girlfriend and Neil always hangs out with brad," he said in a mad tone.

I just walked off for Janin to pick me up. Matt ran after me yelling my name. As Janin pulled up with Neil. Matt got scared and said I love you baby please don't leave.

He gave me a look so I told him that we are breaking up.

"What your joking right I'll change please sam, " he cried.

"I'm not joking you still act like a little child and you always smell of alcohol and weed and always hang with your friends," I explained.

Neil and Janin looked away from the argument. Matt just stood there crying as I hopped in the car driving off. Matt knew that I changed into a grown woman while he was still a little kid.

After an hour in the car, we got to our apartment. Neil said that I did the right thing living my life. We got inside to a nice 4 bedroom apartment.

We got roommates Janin said. 2 girls showed up with a cake for me because my birthday was today. Hey, I'm namoi this is heather. Happy birthday we wanted to make you feel welcome since we are living together.

Then their name's stuck in my brain as I knew that they were dating Adam and Barry. The girls showed me to my room as they helped with my things.

"We all work at the cafe as waitresses which is your new job," Heather explained.

I felt that this was a joke knowing that brad put this together. As I settled in I thought maybe this was God's way to finally talk to him. I know I just broke up with matt but maybe I could be friends with a brad. Yet thinking his name my heart still beats faster.

After telling Matt that she is not pregnant and it would have been his and not Brad's. Matt changed his lifestyle and after 3 years she dumps him because she grew up as he stayed like a little kid. When Samantha got to her new home she realized that maybe it was time to talk to Brad.
