Things I Find Rude In Roleplay

Huh. Haven't updated this in over a year

But I kinda want to vent about something that I've been secretly despising in Roleplay's for years.

I've mentioned laziness in RPs length in responses

How about laziness in trying to get to know someone else's character? By that I mean by

Luna (my fairy tail OC- (main one at least. Skylar is just a secondary idiot)) gets often used with this problem.

Here's what I mean (Flippity Floop being the other persons OC, Luna of course being mine)

Example: Flippity Floop loved Luna, they thought of her as a fun loving kid. So to hopefully make her smile they handed her Luna's favorite food and favorite toy. "Here you go Luna, just for you."

Ya see that? "Her favorite food and her favorite toy"

I understand not knowing her enough to know these things, but honestly when it's worded like that it just feels lazy.

Why not express what food she's eating and if she likes it or not you'll find out? It gives the RP more flavor and definition.

Why not explain the toy she's given and instead of stating it's 'her favorite' you see how she reacts?

It honestly drives me insane when people do this. Or better yet why not ask if she even wants it in the first place? If you give me a response like that I'm half tempted to either ignore the RP, or just downright make my character not accept it.

I mean seriously, going into depth is hard and I understand you're trying to make your character be the cool one for being so nice to a idiotic brat. (Or in another words, a useless piece of shit that somehow I still love?)

However it just makes things seriously cringe worthy, it feels lazy, it feels like you don't even care to know my stupid idiot of a character. I just-

I don't like it. It makes the RP immediately lose its feel.

Sorry I just- Eh I've Been thinking a lot. I haven't been doing RPs near as much.

But I felt like I haven't updated this book in a while (hah- It's been a year bitches) And I wanted to share one more mega pet peeve I have for RPs.
