After his first movie Thomas kept avoiding me. It was when we both started year seven when he started talking to me again. My mum and I did less trips during the term and went during the holidays. It was still fun...but Thomas hardly ever came. He hung out with the crew members of the movie and almost never hung out with me.
By the end of year seven he put his job on hold for school. He came into my class sat beside me and I think EVERY girl was staring at him and glaring at me. After school Thomas met me at my locker.
"Hey there," I say when I see him. I close and lock my locker, then I smile and fake punch his arm "Where have you been lately?"
"I've been looking at acting jobs." He said unconvincingly.
"I thought you were going to put that on hold for me?"
"Yeah...but life is short and I don't want to waste time not acting."
I look at the ground felling hot tears swell in my eyes. Thomas realises what he just said and pulled me into a hug.
"I'm sorry," he said putting his head on top of mine " I didn't realise what I said. Of course I want to spend time with you, but it's hard you know?"
Outside of the school the paparazzi were waiting for Thomas. As soon as they saw him they started flashing their cameras. Thomas just ignored them and kept walking.
