When the world's Collide

Gwen's mother disappeared when she was ten ago saying how she had to protect the world leaving her with her father and two younger siblings. Growing up she was taught the secrets of the fae world and the dangers. At the age of sixteen, she receives a letter from her mother almost six years after the disappearance. Inside she finds an address and the words 'help me'. She follows the address of the letter in Hope's of finding her mom. Except she's not the only one looking for her parent. Along the way, she meets up with three other teens around her age looking to do the same.

"This can't be a coincidence. What are the chances that we all got the same letter leading us here." "I don't know, but if we're all here for the same reason don't you think we should work together." "At least 'til we understand what going on here."

Gwen's story

       My mother and I were extremely close, the only time we were apart was when she was at work or I was at school. She was a wildlife biologist, though that was not all she did.

I understand you might not believe me, most people don't. It's acceptable to not believe in something that seems so far fetched, but what I'm about to tell you is the honest truth. My mother also studied fairies and other fae creatures. It all started with my grandfather who showed her the realm of the neighbours. The land of the fae creatures such as mermaid, sylphs, pixies, goblins, drakes and other creatures. You see before my mother was born there was another daughter who they say went missing. My grandfather, however, knew that this wasn't true. In fact, he himself was witness to what happened. He saw her soul be taken. She had been playing with a fairy, she had told it her name and she was stolen. A name has power, and to the fae, if you tell someone your name you're granting them power over you.

We never heard what happened to her. She was never seen from again. From that day on my grandpa did everything to learn of these creatures we became so involved in his work that it caught the eye of Titania, queen of the fae. She watched as he studied her subjects. She fell in love with him and the drawings he made, that she told him all the secrets of the fae. She taught him how the iron would burn them. How fairies can't lie, and pixies don't speak the whole the truth.....

My Idea with this is that the children's parent each were involved with different aspects of the supernatural world like one was a Vampire/werewolf hunter, on involved in the fae world and another in the demonic world. In my head, they all related and intertwine with the fate of the world. I've honestly forgotten about this story but if you want to create something from this go ahead.
