Wendy pov
" You sure you ain't forgetting anything?" mom asked, I looked around the house one more time.
"no" I answered and smiled, my smile dropped as I saw my mother looking worried, I walked over to her and drew my arms out for a hug.
"mum, I'm going to be fine, it's a school not a prison and you can come visit anytime" I said, reassuring her. I can't blame her, after dad died, I have been her only companion, she failed to marry again, I tried talking her into it but she is just as stubborn as a fowl, so instead I just make myself available for her all the time.
"Wendy, are you sure you like this school?, I can still work things out with the one close to our place!"
"mum!, jesss, I told you I would be fine right?"
Moreover, San Marino High school has been on my mind since my childhood. I have seen many teenagers claimed that they go from there and their lifestyle, I used to love it, also, leaving my childhood environment is the best thing to do right now.
I found that place more boring day by day, I want to explore the world. Learn other people's culture, the way they do things and learn more about life, this?, I can't do it around my mum or my environment, and I can't tell her all these, you know all these mothers, they tends to take things more personally, I'm not ready for more lectures. I thought to myself while I rolled my eyes to every word.
Next stop, San Marino High school.
