I was in my bedroom, under my covers hoping for the tooth fairy to come. I was six at the time. I ha lost my first tooth. It was around 8pm when I went to bed that night as I was scared of the sound of the wind. It was a stormy, windy and cold night that night. It comes back so vividly as it was the day I met the tooth fairy.

At 9pm I was still awake. I was trying so hard to go to sleep. I always heard stories about the tooth fairy. How he was a kind and gentle soul and that he had pearly white teeth. I remember that I decided to get out of bed as I had heard footsteps, loud footsteps. I had gone out to the hallway. There was dead silence.

                                                                      "THUD!"

I walked over to the room where I heard the thud. I saw a large shadow. It was very human like and had huge bat like wings coming from behind it. It had spikey hair that looked like it was a mohawk. I walked over to it. As I had been walking over, It went into the light. It was the tooth fairy. A horribly gruesome nightmare of a tooth fairy. The True Tooth fairy.

He had large hands, large feet and a humongous head. His mohawk was dyed black with a stencil of a yellow skull on it He had dreadful teeth. They were yellow, large and extremely cracked. Some seemed to had been pulled out as well. Blood oozed from a gash next to his mouth. Puss leaking out. He wore a plain black t-shirt with long black pants. He was quite large, about 200kg. He might sound some what plain but he was the most terrifing thing I have ever seen. I walked over to him and asked him a question in a hushed tone. "What are you..... What are you doing..." I tried to sound brave but I was the most terrified I had ever been. He bellowed. I screamed.

My parents awoke from there slumber when I screamed. I had heard them rush to my room completely ignoring where the scream came from. The tooth fairy stared directly at me. It seemed as he was peering into my soul. He then spoke only one word.

                                                                             "RUN."

I ran for my life. I went directly to my room to tell my parents. I explained to them, telling them about the tooth fairy. Them dismissing it as a wild imagination. I pushed them into the room that I saw the tooth fairy in. He was sitting waiting for us. My mother fainted as soon as she caught a glimse. I was confused as why when I was 6 but I now realise. The tooth fairy is a monstercoming to get us in disguise. He was a beast and I was his prey.
