Fashion: He wears anything that is warm and comfortable, easy to sleep and move in. If it's summer, he wears more light and white clothes, so he stays at a good temperature.
Personality: Sam is a very calm and peaceful guy, who smiles and jokes a lot. He is very sarcastic, but doesn't mean to produce a fight with that.
Almost all the time, he tries to help people with his calming powers, the best he can.
However, he can also become very serious if there are pressing matters at hand.
He isn't good at fighting with a weapon, but does his best.
At parties, he's the one you wouldn't notice at first, but if you talk to him, it would be a good and funny conversation.
Even though he likes to sleep, he doesn't overdo it and is definitively not lazy. With flirting, he is a bit the back holding type and blushes like crazy when he gets a compliment or flirt attempt.
Background: Sam was born as the son of Hypnos and a nurse who had immense sleep problems. His parents stayed together for two years, before his father left the family. His mother wasn't mad about it and told him when he was twelve exactly who his father was, why he had to go, et cetera. One year later, he was brought to Camp Halfblood and was claimed a day afterwards. When he was seven, his mother married another man, who was always nice to Sam and treated him like a son. That man doesn't know that he's a demigod, but probably wouldn't care about it. The new couple had one new baby, Sam's half sister Jasmine. He loves her more than anything in the world, she's currently eight years old.
Strengths: Sleeping, helping other people to find relief from pain, reading and therefore researching, calming other people down, lying
Weaknesses: fighting, sometimes he gets too protective, vulnerable when he's without much energy
Powers: Hypnokinesis: (from the Greek word hypnos, meaning sleep) is the ability to manipulate sleep patterns and, by extension, dreams. This can be used to induce instantaneous sleep on biotic subjects, or to induce perpetual insomnia (which in a few days can kill you). One with this ability can remove the need to sleep from any biotic subject, or make them dreadfully tired all the time. One can also cause the subject to sleep forever in a comatose-like state and can even determine how deep a sleep or how long a person or people has.
Healing: Due to the fact that sleep over time can cure a few wounds and diseases, Sam has a light healing power. It isn't as much as the one of Apollon, but definitively enough to heal small wounds.
