Does Agitation Want A Job?

The date was August 9th, 2020. A cell phone began buzzing that morning. Angelica d'Aglior [Agitation] was rudely awakened by the sound of her cell phone. She looked through her text. It was the same as the other hundred: "Have you decided on what you want to do?" Angie just didn't know what to do. She's still in school, and she also likes tea. She recently got an offer to work for the Rin module Sister's Mercy (or her real name Melody Sinclair). But she doesn't know what to do.

Agitation: I think I need some advice.

She got out of bed and went into the bathroom to get dressed. When she was done with that, she went over to her boyfriend Ciel's room. The boy was still asleep, so Angie had to tiptoe in the room. She got to his bed and gently got on it. Ciel's back was facing her, so Angie put her hand on his back. This woke Ciel up.

Ciel: Angie? What are you doing here?

Agitation: Just thought I would wake you up.

Ciel: You always do.

Agitation: Yeah. Hey, I need some advice.

Ciel: About what?

Agitation: Well, you know about the new tea shop, right? Pray For The Tea?

Ciel: Yeah.

Agitation: Well, when my parents and I went there that day, the owner gave us some tea. And then she wanted to give me a job there.

Ciel: A job?

Agitation: Yeah. I haven't accepted her offer yet, and she's been annoying me with texts for the past 2 and a half weeks.

Ciel: You want my opinion?

Agitation: Yeah. But the problem is, I'm still in college. The owner, Melody, said I can come to work whenever I want though.

Ciel: You like tea, don't you?

Agitation: I do.

Ciel: How are you going to get there? You don't drive a car.

Agitation: My parents can drop me off and pick me up.

Ciel: Hmm...

Agitation: So, what do you think I should do?

Ciel: Well, you remember how I said that you shouldn't go over there?

Agitation: Yep.

Ciel: The reason why is because I have a feeling something bad could happen to you. Like getting mugged or something. Or Melody could be evil.

Agitation: You're just being silly. Melody's not so bad once you get to know her. She seems like a nice lady. And she makes amazing tea. What do you think?

Ciel: What did everyone else say?

Agitation: My parents said that it's fine. They've been wanting for me to get a job. And Stephanie said it's okay as long as she visits everyday.

Ciel: I still don't know.

Agitation: Listen, I understand you worrying about me. But Melody really is a sweet girl, even though she's a little younger than I am. Just think about it. If I take this job, I can be rich. No, we can be rich.

Ciel: You're willing to share your money with me and the rest of your family?

Agitation: Of course. Eventually, we can save up enough money to buy ourselves a nice house. Or a car for Stephanie.

Ciel: That would be nice.

Agitation: You still want to marry me, right?

Ciel: Yeah.

Agitation: Well, what do you think? Should I take the job?

Ciel: Maybe we'll let the authoress's friend decide.

Agitation: Hon, are you breaking the fourth wall?

Ciel: Yep.

Agitation: Listen, I have an idea. Why don't you come with me and my parents to the tea shop? Then you can see how nice Melody is. You like tea too, right?

Ciel: Yeah. I just don't drink it as often as you do.

Agitation: That's right. You're more of a hot chocolate fan. I think Melody and I can make our tea shop into not just a tea shop, but we can do any kind of drink we can think of. Like hot chocolate.

Ciel: That would be cool. I'll have to think about it though.

Agitation: Oh, thank you. And I still need to talk to Melody about accepting that offer. So, what do you say?

Ciel: It's a maybe for me.

Agitation: That's fine. I don't blame you. Well, I guess I should let you get dressed so that you can come eat breakfast.

Angie got off of Ciel's bed and left. She still has a lot to think about. But hopefully when Ciel visits the tea shop, he can change his mind.

So, this idea came to my mind randomly. We'll just see what my good friend wants to do with Angie and her maybe-future job. I'll see you guys in the next story!
