"Honey I'm going to go check out my new work place. Will you be fine on your own?" I just give her a head nod cause I'm to tired to talk. I lay on our nice soft brown couch thinking how is school going to be tomorrow and will there people that will annoy her to the max. I feel my phone vibrate in my back pocket and I see I got a message from Leah, my bestfriend from New York, gosh I missed her already.
I texted her back a quick reply and start unpacking boxes in my room and get it all situated like I want it. I was thinking going out would be nice for any food cause my mom is staying out late for tonight. I texted my mom I'm going to eat at a diner right down the road from us, and ask if she wanted anything while I am out.

I see the sign for Carver Cafe, as I start walking to the exit this blonde stops me. "Hello new girl, what is your name?" I can already feel the weirdo hits on lots of girl vibes. "My name  is Tessa, but I also have no interest becoming friends or your new flirt fling at all, so you don't bother me and I don't bother you. K?" I can see his face drop after that I might have came out at him to much. As I left him there still shocked I walked into the cafe ready to eat delicious food, when a very pretty woman comes to me welcoming me to the diner. As she seats me down I noticed there is lots of older men here and a police officer and his daughter. As I seat at the bar the waitress starts taking my order and everything down, and I feel a tap on my shoulder. I see the policeman and his daughter right behind me. "Hi, my name is Charlie and this is my daughter Bella and we notice that you aren't from here, so we wanted to welcome you to Forks." I felt a smile on my face cause I was happy someone came to me and I didn't have to present myself first. "Hello, thank you for welcoming me to your lovely town. My name is Tessa and I just moved here today with my mother."
"Bells why don't you sit here with Tessa cause I have to deal with the animal issues?" I watch Bella just nod at him for him to go as she grabs her and sits right next me. I bet she is a reserved person that doesn't show fucking emotions.
"So you live with your dad, where is your mom?" She looked shocked that is the question I asked first, but she just smiles. "My mother remarried to a minor baseball leauge player back in Phoenix and she wanted to travel with him, so I decided to move in with my dad for the mean time."
I can tell she and her mom are like best friends and she never hanged out a lot with her dad. "That's cool, I live with my mom she is starting to work at the dental place here and my dad died of cancer eleven years ago." She looked at me concerned that I can say that openly, but like it's not the worst thing I could've said out loud. "Oh I'm sorry that has happened, I bet you miss him very much."
She was very right about that statement, but I don't like show vulnerable emotions out though, so I gotta keep it contained. "Yes, a lot he was a great man and it was a shame he had to leave so early."

After conversating for awhile we decided to both go to our vehicles and drive back to our own houses. When I get home I see my mom passed out on the couch exhausted, I lay a throw blanket and put her food in the fridge. I go upstairs to get ready for bed, so I can get up early for school tomorrow. My mind played tricks with me that night making me feel I was going to meet the one. That is a load of bullshit mister. I turn off my light and start going into darkness, also known as my dreams.

The next day will change me entirely.....
