Chapter 2 - Personal Prefrences

It's been a month since Marcus took in the black android kitty, Wu.

He's been enjoying his life really much now.

 His life with the black android kitty is smooth until one day that is, Marcus asked the kitty to play cosplay with him.

"Hey Wu. How bout cosplaying for me?" Marcus was reading out on a magazine and he flipped through the whole thing until a page suddenly attracts him.

It was a clothes shop. 

Well more to be exact a cosplaying shop.

He looked at the models put up on the magazine and looked at Wu. He thought, "I bet Wu would look better in those ouftits." With that thought on mind, he asked Wu to cosplay for him.

Wu looked at Marcus. 

"I..." Before Wu could say any words, Marcus had already stood up and pulled Wu into the car.

"Better still, let's just directly go to the shop." With that said, Marcus drives off and went to the cosplay shop in downtown.

-Inside the cosplay shop-

There was a wide selection fo stuff in the shop. 

All put up nicely and all arranged accordingly.

"Wu, pick anything you like. Or let me help you with it." Marcus then pulls Wu over and all around the shop to choose outfits.

Marcus can be quite a shopaholic. He keep choosing all the dresses for Wu.

"Wu, go try all these on." He pushes Wu inside the changing room and Wu had no choice but to change into each outfit for him to see. 

 Marcus sat outside of the room and waits for Wu to be done. And he has already put a lot of outfits beside him waiting for Wu to change for him to see.

Wu came out first with a maid outfit, and Marcus eyes widen a bit, he keeps noding on his head. He likes what is Wu wearing.

He thinks, anything on Wu would look good.

He rushed Wu inside the changing room again to change into another outfit again.

It was like Wu was his little Barbie doll. He keeps dressing Wu in different outfits.

Wu looks at Marcus's happy face. He felt happy too inside somewhere of his heart.

As an android, they are programmed to feel what the master feels.

After few hours in the shop, Marcus felt satisfaction, with a few bags on each hands, and some with Wu too.

"Wu, what do you think of today's outing? Is it intersting and happy to you?" Marcus suddenly asks.

"As long as master is happy, Wu is happy as well." Wu said.

Marcus felt a sense of stubborness in the sentence.

How could one be happy when himself isnt that one feeling it?

"No Wu, do you feel enlighted today? Dont say you are happy for me, you should say if yourself feel happy or not. Do you understand what am I saying Wu?" Marcus looked at the black android kitty. But he would looked back at his master only with no emotions at all on his face.

Marcus sighs slightly, feeling this is because Wu is an android only, he doesnt understand the feelings of human being.

But then again, Marcus felt that Wu is a special kitty. 

He doesnt know why would he thought so, but he just had the feel on his fingertips and inside his heart.

"Wu does not understand what is Master saying. Wu is programmed to follow Master Marcus's feelings." Wu said bluntly.

Marcus looks at Wu.

Even though Wu said such words, but Marcus felt like it was not his true words at all.

"It's ok Wu. I would teach you. How should you feel. For now, Wu, understand that, I am happy because I am able to take you out and buy clothes for you. Because you are my beloved kitty. So, would you feel happy because I took you out?" Marcus teaches Wu patiently. 

"Master is happy. Wu is happy as well." Wu said, looking at Marcus with his dark black eyes.

It was like a bottomless pit. No one would see through those eyes.

Marcus had a slight sigh again.

But then again, if Wu is a real person, Wu would be happy as well. So maybe it is not bad that he answered he is happy.

"Well. Alright then Wu. It is fine. Now let's go to other shops shall we? We had a lot of shopping to do. And let me teach you about other things you need to know bout." Marcus pats on Wu's head.

Wu purrs a bit like a cat would do. He would smile at Marcus and nodding his head.

Marcus likes it when Wu smiles. An angel's smile, that's what Marcus always thought. 

"Alright then, shall we go now?" Marcus paid for all the clothes and reaches out his hand to Wu holding onto his hand.

Wu didnt know how to react to Marcus's sudden action because an android is not taught to be holding hands with their master. 

Marcus hold on tight to Wu's hand.

"Wu. do not be afraid ok? It is normal to hold hands. And I want to hold your hand." Marcus said with a smile. 

Wu didnt disobey or say anything. He quietly let Marcus hold onto his hand and he followed Marcus around. He would keep seeing a wide grin on Marcus's face.

And Wu remembered.

"People dont smile just for anyone Wu. They smile because they are truly happy when they are with someone they love and care." Lee said.

Wu still remembered Lee was polishing a really old photo frame. 

The dark wooden frame was a bit rotten already but it looked new and shiny as well. 

Lee was smiling whenever he was polishing on the photo. His smile seemed so different from his usual self. It was, a different feeling that Wu would never understand.

Wu looked at Marcus. He has the same smile as Lee.

Maybe what Marcus is feeling now is like what Lee felt when he polished his picture.

Wu couldnt understand at that moment, but he knows he is happy because Lee said, a person would smile when they are really happy and when they are with someone they love and care.

Wu didnt know how special he was to Marcus. But he smiled back at him. If a smile means happiness, then when he smiled, his master would be happy too.

That is what Wu thought of.

Marcus looks at the smiling black kitty in front of him. 

"He does have a really beautiful smile." Marcus took Wu out of the shop and went to other shops to continue shopping, Marcus was enjoying his time with Wu, even though there is a lot to teach Wu about but he is gladly and happily doing it now.

But will this happy moment always be the same from now on?

It seems that there are still many things for Wu to learn about humans and about him, Marcus.

But Marcus will be by his side to teach him. 

But who knows, how the life of the android kitty would be. He was once dumped. He was once being rejected. Lee knows, so well of his past. The android kitty knows too, how his life would led to be. 

But maybe Marcus was a good change for Wu, Lee hoped so.
