Overboard //Teo Halm book 4

Two Months

"What?" I said into the phone.

"Babe I'm not coming back for a month now." he said.

"But why?" I asked.

"They want to do media for the movie I'm in so it'll take a month. I promise as soon as I get back we can have our wedding." he said.

"Okay but- " I said

"I've gotta go honey see you later." he said hanging up on me.

I put the phone down and start to cry. This will be two months with out teo.

"C- Carter." I cried out for the boy who was always there for me.

"Yeah- oh Lira!" He said coming to my side and scooping me up in his arm.

There were no words being said for he knows. This has happened before.

Carter and I are friends and well I guess I can say a little more. Our relationship is crazy cause sometimes he seems like a brother figure to me but then other times he seems like a boyfriend.

Carter sets me on my bed and pops in a movie. Yes. we watch movies all the time. Except when I make myself go to work.

"You want starbucks?" He asked grabbing his keys.

I nod my head and peck him on the cheek. Carter knows me better than anyone.

I lay there thinking about all my mistakes.

1: I'm pretty sure I'm not pretty enough for Teo
2: I'm fat

3: I don't think I give Teo what he wants.

I run the rest of the list on my fingers since there is like mor than three.

"I'm BACK!" Carter yells from the kitchen.

He runs to my room and gives me a frappe.

I kiss him once more and settle down to watch the movie.

I think I might make 1 more month with out teo.
