Sunny was sure that besides the fact that she was able to get a backstage pass along with her vvip ticket, she was positive that none of that mattered if she couldn't make it to the concert. Thanks to her parents, of course.
"No. No Lee Soonkyu. You are not leaving this house at the middle of the night, more importantly, a school night for some boy band concert." Her mother, Minyong, said sternly, her arms tightly crossed over her chest as she peered down at her daughter who sat on the couch grumpily with Taeyeon beside her looking awkward.
"It's not just some boy band! It's BTS mom, and you know that they're my favorite group! Plus, its my birthday!" Sunny exclaimed.
Minyong shook her head, and waved her hand as she began walking away. "I don't want to hear your proclaim of love, and I know that but I'm still saying no. Its education over entertainment. You're staying home, and that's final." She stopped, and looked at Taeyeon. She smiled apologetically. "I apologize Taeyeon-ah, but it's really late, and it's a school night."
Taeyeon seemed like she was the only happy person in the room so she shook her head, and threw her hand gesturing that it was fine. "Oh it's okay, Mrs Lee. Totally understand. Sunny and I will just go back to her room and do...girl stuff."
Minyong nodded, and went back upstairs to her bedroom.
As soon as Sunny was able to hear the bedroom door click shut, she quickly looked at Taeyeon with fiery eyes. "Yah! What the he-"
Taeyeon covered her mouth, and pulled her to the room, and locked it. Sunny pulled away from her, confused and even more irritated.
"What the hell Taeyeon!" She exclaimed.
Taeyeon crossed her arms across her chest, and smirked. "Do you actually think we're going to miss that concert? This was suppose to be your birthday present from me."
Sunny rose an eyebrow. "Uh...well my umma said we can't go. It's a school night, and it's late. We just can't go Tae."
"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Oh, Sunny. Oh so naive." Taeyeon said as she walked over to the window, and unlocked it. She pushed open the window doors before turning back around. "We're going to sneak out."
Sunny shook her head. "W-we can't! My umma made it pretty clear that she doesn't want us to go! I'm not looking forward to getting grounded all the way to college!" She exclaimed.
"And you won't. I have a plan." Taeyeon took the longest and the two biggest pillows from the bay windows, and stuffed them side by side under the covers of Sunny's bed as if there were two people asleep there. As if both girls were asleep, and not at a concert.
"Eh? Eh?" Taeyeon smirked. "Sooooo, good idea?"
Sunny let out a breath before biting her lip. "Yeah...I don't know how long it'll be this convincing."
"Oh, all we need is around three hours, and that's it." Taeyeon replied, Sunny nodding in agreement. "All we have to do before we leave is let your mom know that we're going to sleep so don't bother us and bam! We leave without worrying about your mom coming in."
Sunny nodded, finding Taeyeon's plan to be quite workable. It was a very well known trick, but her mom was pretty dense and didn't find her daughter to be the kind of daughter to deceive her mother. That's how Sunny knew that it was going to work.
"Okay, let's do it." Sunny said with a shrug of her shoulders.
Taeyeon smirked, and went out the room to tell Sunny's mother that they were indeed about to go to sleep. After getting that straightened out, Taeyeon began climbing out of the window. Once she was out, she looked back at the window at Sunny, her eyebrows rose. "Cmon. Are you coming or what, birthday girl?" She asked in a loud whisper. Sunny bit her lip, looked back at the dark room before she climbed out the window herself. One mistake. Sunny missed a place to where she was stepping and accidentally fell on top of Taeyeon.
