Chapter 4

Addison's P.O.V****

*Riiiiiiiiiiiiiing*

I wake up and stretch before turning off my alarm. I get off my bed and slip on my slippers. I walk over to my desk and grab my towel. Might as well take a shower since I have nothing else to do.

I go in my bathroom and lock my door, just in case. I've been in the shower for maybe 15 minutes already.

*Bam*

What was that? Am I going to die? No I-

"Sorry Addy, I kinda knocked over your chair" Maddie says.

Ok, at least I know that I won't die. I step out the shower wrap my towel around my body. I immediately see Maddie sitting on my bed going through her phone. I head over to one of my bags and get out my clothes for today.

I decided to wear black leggings and a white sports bra. I sit next to Maddie and snatch her phone.

"Hey!"she yells.

"Sorry, I had to get your attention somehow" I shrug.

Maddie stands up and walks to my radio, it's one of the only things I unpacked last night. It's one that you choose the song by connecting your phone.

Maddie connects her phone and puts on 'Taking You' by some boy band named 'Why Don't We'. She's obsessed with them. Since she's my best friend, I learned the song too.

We finish singing and laugh.

"Are you going to stay while I unpack?" I ask, hopeful that she'll help.

"I'm helping you silly" she giggles. Maddie is a very pretty girl and she could be the 'Queen Bee' of our school. However, she insists that she only needs to be popular with me. She's stuck by me since freshman year when Noah...yeah.

We get up and make a plan. We both put my nightstand next to my bed and put the bean bag chairs in their spots. Then, I put my clothes and underwear in their proper places while Maddie puts up pictures of us and lamps and stuff where they go.

By the time we finish it's 11:56, almost lunch. We quickly put up the fairy lights, yes i'm cliché like that, and run down the stairs.

Maddie and I stop in the kitchen and look at him with my mom like he's from a different planet. I can't believe he's here.
