Prologue

A gray unicorn, with white mane and tail, with white and pink, white heather cutie mark looks up at the setting sun as a white pegasus, with black mane and tail, with a red and gray gladiolus flower cutie mark follows along pulling a cart."Hmm, we should hurry back before Poina wakes up dear, I would like to see him off before he leaves for the Crystal Empire." Pua said as she created a shield around them as they entered the Everfree Forest.

Lele nodded "Why he chooses to do it at night, I'll never understand." he says with a slight smile "You know he loves the night." she say fondly. "Just because I know, doesn't mean I understand." he jokes back "I don't think our son understands either." she says with light laugh as they make it to small house surrounded by the same shield, as they the shield around the merges with green shield turning teal.

"It looks like Poina is awake." Lele seeing the seven chickens and three roosters were fed and going to sleep. "Looks like it." Pua said pointing out the young black alicorn, with white mane and tail, with a purple, teal and silver African violet cutie mark watering the garden next to the house. "Yellow mother, father how was your morning?" Poina asked as he turns to face them "It was fine dear, how was your morning? Restful I hope." Pua inquiries. "Surprisingly peaceful, should I be worried while I'm gone." Poina asks anxiously.

"No need to your mother and I were doing this long before you were born" Lele erasures "I know I just can't shake that feeling like somethings going to happen, I don't know what it is but, it just feels off." Poina confusedly explained. "I'm sure everything will be okay, but you should be off while it's still dark and have a safe travel." Pua gently probes him on his way "Ok, see you two weeks and goodnight." Poina smiles brightly still feeling anxious.

With that Poina teleports close to the Crystal Empire and goes straight to the Crystal Mines wearing a white cloak to not stand out in the snow unfortunately on the second day in the mines the Crystal Empire was sealed much to the grief of his parents when they found out days later when they were in town.
