After she left John and Christine's house and made her way home. She had gotten Kinzey ready for bed and after she read to her, she crawled in bed with her.

"Momma, what are you doing?" She asks.

"Well, I want to talk to you. There are going to be some big changes happening in oh about seven-eight months." She starts petting her daughter's hair.

"What you mean?" She nuzzles into her mother's shoulder.

"Well, you are going to get two new playmates." Stevie starts tracing up and down her daughter's arm.

"Why?" She asks.

"Well, daddy and I thought it would be could for you to grow up with other people. So daddy and I are giving you two kids around your age to play with." Stevie tries to explain.

"I don't like it. But okay." She sighs.

Stevie chuckles and scoops her up into her arms. "Why don't you come and sleep with momma tonight hm?"

"Yay!!!" She cheers.

Stevie was making breakfast for Kinzey, Chocolate Chip Pancakes, it wasn't a normal choice for breakfast as they kept her sweet intake to a minimum. The little girl was sitting in her booster seat just watching her mother playing with her dolls. The way that their kitchen is set up, her back was to the door and she felt Lindsey's arms wrap around her waist.

"How was your flight?" She asks.

"Good. What's the occasion?" He kisses her cheek before going and kissing Kinzey's chubby little cheeks.

"We're celebrating." Stevie smiles putting the small plate in front of Kinzey.

"Celebrating what?" He inquires.

"This." She goes over to her purse and hands him one of her ultrasound pictures.

He looks at it for a moment and tears are welling up in his eyes. "Steph is this?" He asks.

She just holds up two fingers.

"Two of them. We're having twins." He asks.

She just nods.

"What the fuck are we going to do?" Lindsey asks.

"I have no idea." Stevie states.

"Have you told her yet?:

"I told her that we were going to give her two new playmates. I didn't really tell her much else." Stevie tells him.

"Well, we can't really tell her much else until we find out what you're having." Lindsey kisses her head.

"Are you excited, Lindsey?" Stevie asks.

"Oh baby, I'm thrilled." He squeezes her tightly.

"Are we ready for three kids?" Stevie lays her head on his shoulder.

"We'll be fine. When are you due?" He asks.

"Well, I'm about nine weeks. So, most likely February or March." Stevie explains.

"When's your next appointment?" She questions.

"August 15 at eight in the morning." She goes back to the breakfast she was making.

"I'll be there. I promise you." Lindsey kisses her temple.

"I believe you." She nods pouring the batter onto the griddle.

"Hey, sweetheart are you excited to meet your new playmates?" Lindsey questions sitting on the stool next to her and pulls her onto his lap.

"Daddy I eatin." She states pointing the fork in her right hand at the plate.

"I know you're eating. But I want to hold you while you're eating." Lindsey squeezes her tightly before moving the plate in front of her.

"Lindsey, When I'm further along we should get professional pictures done. And then after they're born too. I didn't do it with Kinzey and I really regret not doing it." She hands him a plate

"I think we can arrange that yeah." Lindsey nods.

Lindsey and Stevie were sitting in the doctor's office for her 16-week scan. When she had the CVS four weeks earlier it put her down for the count. The CVS for twins was a lot more painful and it was slightly more complicated than with just Kinzey so she was out for a couple of days, in the hospital for one of them as "precautionary measure" but now they were anxiously awaiting her results. Kinzey was with Christine and it was just the two of them. Lindsey holding her hand and kissing the top of her head. She had started showing and when she did her hand was almost always plastered to it.

"Alright, so we have your results. They are both perfectly fine." Dr. Avery grins.

Stevie slumps down in relief and Lindsey kisses her head again.

"You were able to tell Kinzey's gender, can you tell there's?" Stevie questions.

"I can. Do you guys want to know." Dr. Avery smirks.

"Yes." Stevie nods.

"Alright so Baby A is a boy." Dr. Avery grins.

"A son, I get a son?" Lindsey asks.

"Yes, Mr. Buckingham, you're getting a son. Baby B is a little girl." Dr. Avery nods.

"Another little girl." Stevie cheers.

"Yep, one of each." The doctor nods.

"Can we look at them?" Stevie turns to the doctor.

"Lay on back, and we certainly can." She chuckles.

When they get home that night, Stevie and Lindsey are sitting on the couch with Kinzey. Stevie is sitting on the couch, crooked, as her back is pressed into the juncture where the back of the couch an the arm meet. She has her legs crossed and Kinzey is crawling all over her while the TV is playing some Disney movie. Lindsey's in his armchair reading the nightly paper.

"Kinzey." Stevie taps her daughter's shoulder

"What Momma?" She asks.

"Do you remember the playmates that Daddy and I told you about?" Stevie questions.

"Yeah. They'll come in Feb-Feb." She starts.

"Feb-u-ary." Stevie sounds out for her.

"Feb-U-Ary." Kinzey repeats.

"Right. They'll be here in February but, Daddy and I found out something today." She winces as Kinzey knees her in the stomach.

"What?" Kinzey questions going to straddle her mom's stomach.

Lindsey joins the girls on the couch and he wraps his arms around both of them. Stevie shifts so that she's tucked under Lindsey's arm and their daughter is sitting on both of them. Lindsey rubbing Kinzey's back.

"So Mom and I found out that your playmates are going to be one little boy and one little girl," Lindsey explains.

"That's okay." She smiles.

"So you know how Uncle Chris is my brother and  Uncle Jeff is Daddy's brother." Stevie brushes a strand of hair out of her blue denim eyes.

"Yes." Kinzey nods.

"Well, this little boy is your brother and the little girl is your sister," Stevie explains putting her free hand onto her belly.

Kinzey just nods and turns her attention back to her movie causing Stevie to laugh, her belly slightly jiggling.
