Knock

Part 1

Sam had come to New York for a trip. He was a hardcore wanderlust. As he reached new york, he asked the cab driver to take him to a good hotel. After all formalities, he was given a room at 15th floor. Room no. 1502 ! When he got into the lift, he saw a girl staring at him. He being friendly gave her a smile but she ran away from there. Sam found her weird and ignored it and pressed 15. When he came out of the lift and was searching his room, he saw that same girl entering a room and shutting the door with a bash. Being exhausted, he just went into his room and got fresh. While he was taking a shower, someone knocked the door. When he came out and checked, he found no one. He ate the food he had and went for sleep. It was 2:30 am when he heard a knock on his door. He shockingly went and opened the door but nobody was present there. He called the reception to enquire but the reception didn't pick up the call. He took a glass of water and went to sleep again. Next morning, he went to meet his friend David. David was a college student living in New York since 10 years. After a full day enjoyment with David, Sam asked him to come to his home for dinner. David refused and said would come some other day. It was 1am and Sam was alone driving with musics ON. On his way, he saw a girl asking for lift. He being a helpful person gave her lift. They both talked the whole journey but then when the girl asked him his address, she was stunned after she heard the name of the hotel. She asked him to stop driving and she got off the car. Sam found this too strange and went to hotel directly. He discussed about this incident with his friend David. David said he would come to meet him next morning regarding this incident. That night, Sam heard a sound of a girl singing in a crying tone in his corridor. When he opened the door, he found nobody. He was getting a lot tensed now. While he was coming back to his room, he felt someone walked passed through him. He without thinking of anything else, went to his room and slept. It was 2:30 am when someone again knocked his door. This time with a louder knock. Sam's fear was changing into anger. He thought someone is mentally harassing him. When he went and opened the door, he saw nobody. And suddenly he felt like someone is there inside his bathroom and is taking a shower. He immediately opened the bathroom door. He saw the shower was open but nobody was there. This strange acts had terrified him a lot. He without focusing on anything else went to sleep ignoring all the sound that he could hear.
Next morning David came to meet him and talk about the incidents taking place. After hearing everything, David said that all that has happened was just his misunderstandings and asked him not to stress a lot. Sam was not convinced and thought to change the hotel. He changed his hotel the very next day.
Sam went to a movie theater where he met a girl named Lara. Sam realized that it was the same girl whom he gave lift that day. He asked her the reason she got off the car but seeing him she got panicked and tried to run away from there. Sam ran behind her, caught her, holded her hands tightly and requested her to say what has happened. She refused at first but then agreed to say but at her house. Sam agreed to this. They both went to her house. Lara told him the story of that hotel.

Hotel was constructed long ago on a dispute land so the owner of hotel had a severe fight with the landlords. Lara was small that time so she didn't remember the whole thing that happened but she remembered that the owner had died very soon after that fight. Since then no one came to that hotel much often. Sam asked her if she knew anything related to a small girl of that hotel but Lara refused and said that she had told him all she knew.

100's of questions were now revolving in Sam's mind. Next day, Sam went to police station with David for enquiry and what he got to know from there had put him in a state of shock. He found that the hotel he was living in had only 6 floors but the room given to him was in 15th floor. And also there was a murder case of a small girl who was living in that hotel. But the case was closed 5 years back. When he told to police that he was given a room in 15th floor, police thought he had come to prank with them so they asked him to leave or they would put him in lock up. He asked the police to come along with him to that hotel so that he can show them his room. When he reached the hotel, he saw that the hotel had only 6 floors. He asked David as a witness to speak to police as David had come to his room before. But David said that he had never come to meet him and there are 6 floors in this hotel since its built. Sam without saying anything left from the place and was thinking something when he heard a knock at his door. He opened the door and saw nobody but a letter near his foot. The letter had the title 1502! It said that whoever has lived in that room has died and now its his turn now. He got frightened and tore the letter. He decided to return back to India his hometown. While he was booking tickets online, he saw his laptop malfunctioning. The screen suddenly turned black and then it showed 1502! He got scared and went out of his hotel. He went to David's house without informing him. He rang the bell but nobody opened the door so he went inside thinking David might have goe somewhere near and would be back soon. He was roaming in his house when he saw something that took the soul out of his body.....
