I wake up after having a horrible dream about my mom again, these have been happening ever since she passed away. My mother's name was Mandy, I miss her like crazy, she was the best mother ever. She did everything to keep me safe, to keep me healthy and happy. She died in a robbery, she tried to hide under one of the shelfs but the man shot her. At least that's what they told me.
"God damn it." I groan and decide to shower.
I walk into my bathroom, strip off my clothes and go in the shower I turn on the hot then start measuring the temperature by opening the cold slowly. While I was showering, my dad yells at me from downstairs : "Emma! Have you seen what time it is?!" I grab my watch from the top of the toilet, and read the time: '8:00 A.M'
"Oh crap."
I was late to my first day at highschool, my senior year. I finished my shower quickly. I quickly made my way towards my closet and threw on anything I found at plain sight. I found a plain black tee and some jeans, then put my grey Jordan's on. I put my hair up in a messy bun and I apply some lip gloss before running downstairs, not wasting anymore time.
"Bye dad!" I yell in a hurry.
"Bye Shawn! " I also yell at my 20 year old brother from the outside of our house.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I arrive to my new highschool, Redwood High. I instantly regret being late. Always had clean records, never really found being a trouble maker a cool thing. A straight A student and I am basically always the teachers pet, I got harassed for it. Changing it up a little bit this year, not gonna be horrible, just going to actually have fun and not over do myself like last year.20 minutes later.
After grabbing my schedule, I realize I missed first period, luckily the principal wasn't having a bad day so I got a note excusing me, I have time to find math class, my least favorite subject. I walk through the hallways taking turns.
After I find my class, I make my way inside and I'm 5 minutes early. I sit on a back seat and I grab my phone and connect my air pods, and play my favorite band, One Direction.
"You're in my spot." a deep voice says.
I turn around to find a very angry guy looking down at me.
"I'm sorry but I certainly don't see a name on it." I smile innocently at the guy.
"You must be new because, no one talks to me like that." The guy scoffs. I can tell he's very annoyed already.
"Sorry, again, but I didn't ask?" I look at him once again.
Everyone in class gasps, and turn around quickly whispering to their friends. A few of them are "Oh my god, did you hear her?", "She really did that?!".
"Just piss off, Mr. Thick Eyebrows" I look at him with an annoyed looking expression.
The whole class starts laughing, and whispering about me.
"I have heard enough!" our teacher yells entering the class.
"Hardin, just find another spot ,and leave the lady alone, it's her first day you made her morning a bad one already." the teacher says annoyed.
"But this one's mine!" The guy, which name I just learned is Hardin, whines like a child.
"Do you want a VIP seat at the principals office?" the teacher smiles growing even more annoyed and tired.
"Whatever." Hardin scoffs then looks at me, with a glare.
I smile at him, which he responds to me with a growl.
"What is he a wolf?"

Ok so, I'm editing all my chapters and fixing all my errors because I did notice I had bad grammar and many mistakes.
I noticed many of you guys didn't like the clothing choice lol, so I fixed it up, also the brother's name is Shawn and I messed it up by putting Trevor. I also added more words because I realized my starting chapters are really short. Thanks for reading and have a good day! :)
