As I walk back to class , I feel my wrist getting pulled in a aggressive manner.
"What the heck-" I shriek before someone covers my mouth not giving me time to complete my "profanity".
The person turns me around and looks down at me.
"Hardin?" I cry out.
"You scared me." I frown
I see as another emotion other than coldness flashes through his eyes for just a split second, then turns back to his cold side.
"Listen stay away from me and my friends, it's for your own good." He looks at me with a frown
"What?" I scoff
"Just do what I say" He looks at me with a frown
"Bu-" I start to say
"Just do what I say Emma!" he groans, and half yells at me, as he tugs aggressively at his hair.
"No Hardin, I can hang out with whoever I want, and with no explanation I see no reason of why not to hang out with you guys!" I bark
"Whatever Emma! Just don't dare get in our business, or it won't end good!" He looks at me intensely before scoffing then getting out of the closet slamming the door.
"Okay.." I flinch at his tone and it takes me a bit of time until I actually process all of this then get out of the closet.
"Hey Em!" I hear Tony's voice.
"Hey" I greet nicely.
I also see all the boys come behind him, except Hardin.
"Hey, guys I just remembered I have four tickets for a movie, wanna come with? " I ask them
They all look at each other in a worried/panicked expression.
"Uh, I have to look after my sister today." Tony says quickly in a low voice.
"I uh," he stops then looks at me "I have to uh I have a dentist appointment yeah!" Ryder says.
"I have to go to uh a tutoring session right after school." Everett says. Great liars.
"Uhm okay then.." I say worriedly because I know they are lying but I have a plan. A plan that might ruin our friendship, but at least I'd know what they're up to.
