Two Months Later
I haven't seen David or Jordan ever since they went home two months ago after me and Mike got into our argument. I was headed my way to Mike's home to see what he had planned and in store for me on his new project for "everlasting life."
I walked up the steps to his palace of a home and I knocked on the door, it opened slowly and Jordan peaked her head around the side of the frame. Her eyes glistened under the streetlights as she wore her signature green pearl dress.
"Jordan! I didn't know you were going to be here." I said cautiously.
"Hello Jay, I hope you've been well. I missed you so much." She jumped and wrapped her arms around me. She kissed my cheek and I told her "I missed you too." I let out a sigh. "where's Mike and David?""They're both inside, I just came here today, don't worry. I was called over the same time you were, I guess we're all a part of this." She let out. "I'm sorry I haven't kept in touch."
I replied, "don't worry Jordan, it works both ways. I'm sorry too." we walked inside and to a large room with a white glistening chandelier, there was a man there that I haven't met before, a strong minded mortician with an attitude to leave you speechless for a week. His name was Leonardo Ford. "Hello. I'm Jason Kinkle, its nice to meet you." I said to him as I reached out an arm for a handshake. He took my hand and gripped it like he's wrestled a bear, steady and firm. One good man to have the job he has, but for what reason would he be needed at a talk for everlasting life? If he works with death? Shouldn't we be consulting a doctor? I wondered to myself, but I realized he might be essential. "Ah! Jay, I've heard a lot about you, I'm Leo." He replied. "Leo here and I were just talking about my new project, the hunt for a maluum malus, the first time we talked when you first came over at my big party he rejected me, but I was able to get him again to come by and speak with me. He said he might be willing to help us if he isn't too Occupied in the future, he was actually just leaving." Mike said to Jordan and I, Leo looked a tad confused. "Oh! yes, i was, just leaving. It was nice meeting you both, I'll be seeing you soon i hope." Leo walked away and down the hall to the main door. "Fucking charlatan." Lillian said as she came down the stairs to see us. "He's going to blackmail us, he's Blood Money! we don't want that do we Michael?" Frighteningly Furious, she stormed to Michael and spoke without proper consent. "Calm down Lillian, we aren't going to be working with him for much longer. He's in love with a pink war mongering space goddess and just lost his own father, I doubt he's going to want work with us, especially for what we stand for." Michael said to Lillian hoping to calm her down while they watched Leo walking down the long Hallway. I believe Leonardo might have heard them, there is no way he couldn't. Michael started to talk to everyone about what the plan is. "Alright, we have a few days to find the right Maluum, if we don't everything will be over faster than we know it and well have to restart a year from now." He said cautiously.
"Were going to need to tear a hole in the fabric of Space itself.""How are we going to even do such a thing?" David said sternly. Michael looked at David and replied. "Well were going to need to start with Astral projection."
