PARK JIMIN was the best friend Taehyung had always dreamed of having.

He walked with Taehyung to class, laughed with him, and didn't mind his stupid birthmark.

Jimin sent funny memes at ungodly hours, always making Taehyung smile. He laughed every time he hung out with Jimin, and it felt really good to just laugh, without forcing it.

Taehyung's mom had told him all his life to save his first kiss and his first time for the one he really loved.

She said everyone needs someone.

She believes everyone has a soulmate, just not everyone finds theirs.

Taehyung hopes he finds his.

"Hey, you wanna meet my boyfriend today?" Jimin asked as they left for lunch.

"Um... yeah, sure I guess," he answered shyly.

Jimin smiled big and his eyes disappeared, he grabbed his new best-friend's hand as he skipped to the lunchroom.

Taehyung was nervous seeing as he wasn't used to talking to people other than Jimin.

Taehyung trailed behind Jimin as he bounced towards a table. Seated at this table were four people Taehyung did not even slightly recognize.

One girl and three boys.

The girl was like most other girls at the university: skinny and pretty.

Way more skinny and pretty than me, Taehyung thought.

She was laughing and smiling, Taehyung assumed she was laughing at something one of the boys had said.

Two of the three boys weren't as skinny, but still slim, and still very attractive.

One had very broad shoulders and shiny hair, the guy next him had dimples and soft eyes.

The third boy was skinny and had very cat-like eyes, pale skin, and blonde hair.

Jimin let go of Taehyung's hand and bounded towards the last boy shouting, "Yoongles!" As he tackled the poor boy. 'Yoongles' let out a grunt in response, but rested his hands on his boyfriend's waist as he took a seat next to him nonetheless.

"Yoongi, this is my new best friend. Tae, this is my boyfriend," He said smiling brightly.

Taehyung bowed his head, flopping his hair into his eyes.

"Tae, this is Seokjin and Namjoon." He gestured to the man with wide shoulders before pointing at the man with the dimpled smile.

Taehyung bowed a second time.

"And, I'm Lisa, since apparently I don't get a lovely little introduction," the girl said as she rolled her large doll-like eyes.

"Is that your natural hair?" The man named Seokjin asked.

Taehyung nodded and smiled, but couldn't help but to feel very out of place among Jimin's friends.

"His eyes are different, too," Lisa announced excitedly, flopping on the table and tilting her head, her long, shiny hair falling over her thin arm.

Taehyung cleared his throat, Jimin was really throwing him out there today. He took a deep breath before speaking.

"Okay, everyone calm down he's not a science experiment," Jimin scolded.

"Off topic: where did you get your necklace? It's so cute," Lisa asked, hands playing idly with a pair of her hair.

"In Daegu, there's a mining site where you can go and dig for rocks and gold and stuff. I found these and just drilled a little hole through them, and put 'em on a string," he mumbles gesturing with his hands.

"I hate people that are just casually talented," Seokjin scoffed, sipping at his drink. "Well my name is Seokjin, I'm twenty-five, I'm from Gwacheon, my favorite color is pink, and I like to cook," Seokjin said before taking a sip of his drink. "I'm an aspiring actor, I've practiced that introduction quite a few times."

The conversation drifted around the table and Taehyung now knew that Namjoon broke nearly everything he touched and pretty much every one at the table was jealous of Lisa's bangs.

He now knew that Lisa majored in cosmetology, Seokjin was a culinary major, and Namjoon was studying to be a doctor.

He already knew that Yoongi majored in music, since Jimin could never seem to stop talking when it came to his boyfriend.

"Taehyung? What's wrong?" Lisa put a hand on the boy's shoulder, "Why are you hiding your face?"

"People are staring at me," Taehyung mumbled, gesturing to the lunchroom of people murmuring in his direction.

"So?" Yoongi asked, stabbing his salad casually.

"It's unique, they might be admiring," Namjoon suggested, every one else nodding in agreement.

"Yeah! You're really handsome," Lisa chirped.

"Uh, thank you, Lisa," he mumbled still not used to the compliments.

"If you don't mind me asking- the white on your forehead- is it, like, a scar?" Yoongi asked.

Taehyung shook his head, "Birthmark."

"The eyes as well?" Yoongi asked.

"Oh, I don't know about that," he said thoughtfully. "My grandmother had the same thing... Hetero-something?"

"Heterochromia," Namjoon told him.

"Damn, that's a big ass word," Seokjin said, staring at his boyfriend in awe. "I'm in love with your sexy brain," he groaned much louder than what was necessary.

Namjoon scoffed and turned back to Taehyung. "It's most likely just genetic, maybe not related to the birthmark. Lots of models have it, so it's nothing to be embarrassed about."

"What's up Tae? You're more quiet than usual." Taehyung put down his book and looked up to his blue haired, older friend in confusion.

"Nothing, Hyung," he answered honestly. "Some people have the ability to stop talking once in a while."

"Shut the fuck up," Jimin said, squinting like he was still suspicious. "Anyways, I want you to come with me to dance practice today. I have a few more friends I want you to meet," Jimin declared, running his hands through his hair.

"How many people do you know?" Taehyung sassed.

"Reasons you wouldn't understand," He quipped back, as he grabbed Taehyung's hand and pulled him towards their next class.
