"Ye have got to be kidding me..." It mimicked from beyond the trees. Followed by the sound of a branch snapping.

Anti clenches the gun in his hand as he watches the foliage shiver.

The forest didn't sound anymore. No birds, no wind...
Nor did the air didn't smell like damp grass anymore.

The only sound now was breathing. Loud, shallow breathing. While the sudden new smell stung, it was enough to ward flies off.

After a long silence, a lone dog slowly emerges from the dusky shrubbery. The head is almost shaped almost like a German Shepherd or coyote, with big pointed ears and a long snout.
But it looks wrong... Its fur has wilted away, showing more actual skin than hair. With big oval eyes that hide behind a mask, a skull. Staring emptily.

The worst part? It's standing... as in, it's up on its back legs like a person; with its limbs cranked unnaturally to suit its upright position. And it's massive...

The demon and human -who have completely frozen to the creature's presence - only snap out of it when the mutt drops a dead rabbit that it had clutched in its massive humanoid claws.

Anti steps back in return, confused to hell at what he's even looking at.

The contorted animal then hunches itself over to squeeze through the trees, using its hands to push branches aside.

"RUN!" Stacy yells, squirming away as best as possible.

But Anti proceeds to slowly drop the gun, staring at it with a curious awe. Almost in admiration for the way how this beast was built, every part of it was designed carefully to kill.

"What the fuck are you doing?! These things won't spare you! Listen to-mmph!"

Anti's strings silence her, coiling around her gob to muffle her blabber.

"Can you shut it for one second, lady!" Anti seethes.

But the "silence" doesn't last long...

When Anti turned his attention back to the creature, it had moved out from the trees. Fully revealing itself as a tall lanky mess of limbs and skin. Eyes, fixed dead onto the pair. A heartless demeanour embedded into it.

It suddenly throws its head back and lets out a barking shriek, unlike anything they've ever heard.

Slowly bringing its head back down to give off a wide human expression that resembled a sick smile. Teeth and all, as a black oil drooled from its canines.

Anti freezes, realising his mistake when his ears prick up at the sound of slashing and crashing of trees come tumbling towards them.

"MM MMPH!" Stacy muffles, still trying to get out of Anti's strings.
